i'm not sure tbh, i don't think he is the right man for the job BUT who else would replace him, i'm can't think of anyone who would want the job that's going to be better.

i'm sure if we do qualify then the media will be saying he has to stay, even though they have been saying he has to go whatever.

Managers get sacked so quickly these days in football it's beyond a joke. I am not a big fan of McLaren, but in his 11 competitive games in charge he has won 7, drawn 2 and lost 2. Is he really as bad as some people make out?

I think it is more about the way we have played under him. I know it is all about results at the end of the day but a big international team like England, with the players we have, is expected to play some quality football and the simple fact is we haven't.

We will rarely concede goals due to our defense actually being one of the best in the world (Rio, Terry, Campbell, Richards, A Cole, Bridge etc) but it is going forward where we lack a cutting edge. With players like Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard, J Cole, Owen (when he fit), Wright-Phillips, Beckham and so on that shouldn't be the case but the sad fact it is. The players should also take some blame too though, they need to show more fight and hunger for the cause. Hopefully they can show this on Wednesday and restore some hope for Euro 2008 because at the moment, if we do qualify, I do not see us doing any damage at the Euro's.
