Ah stop being so bitter. The season's only half way through, still loadsa time left. Everyone stop flappin' lol.
I'd rather my own team wins it.
I'm just well happy that we're in the friggin title race at this point of the season. If we win it it will be becasue we was boss and better than the rest. Simple as. Yer turnips!

I think you lack the squad to win consistently through the season. You're doing well now, but I think it's a case of your lot over performing while United and Chelsea under perform, and over a whole season, United and Chelsea will hit a winning run of 7, 8 games while Liverpool will get a few careless draws.
Saying that, you've a strong tradition, and if you're still around the top by end of Feb, there may be enough belief to see you through to the end.
Right now it's too early to really judge; can United win their 3 games in hand (which given their current form, you have to doubt), will Chelsea get their act together and go on a long run?
Still, I don't see it happening for you guys. Third, maybe second if one of the Big Two don't pull their socks up.

Fair comments. Sensible comments. Would be great to see all those hats eaten. Fingers crossed. I'm looking at you Michael Ballsack.
In past seasons, the second half of the season has been our strongest. I hope we're starting to hit the next gear. Plus we'll have our main striker back in the saddle. Sounds good. Just hope we can keep it going.Last edited by hudson; 28-12-2008, 23:34.

Having him coming back can only be a good thing, he's a great talent - at the same time though, you're winning now, and there's always a chance the balance could get upset when he returns. You never really know, but he's immense so that will likely work out for you.
Listen, it may happen. I for one am glad it's not a two horse race at this stage of the season. I'd like to see another club up there pushing as well, life is far more interesting that way! We'll see where everyone is in 8 weeks time and then have the same discussion. My concern for you lot would be your quite capable of losing 3 on the bounce.
