Disappointed by Roma tonight. I think Alan Smith was probably right in that the defensive performance by Roma was a reaction to the 4-0 thumping they took from Inter at the weekend, but playing that way doesn't suit Roma. Their forte is fast, attacking, passing football, so to be so negative just wastes the talents of the likes of Totti, Perrotta, Taddei, etc..Comment

How is it bollocks? They've done it the last two seasons. Played reserve teams in the league when they had a champions league tie coming up. In the league you have to play a strong side week in week out.

Where was I making excuses? I summed up the inadequacies we had that lead to the loss. I didn't blame anyone other than Chelsea and their performance. Why do you feel the need to always be so combative in general light banter?
