Didn't stop him running half the pitch at the speed of lightning for the 3rd goal.

It's key to remember that Graham Poll was once considered the best ref in the UK. Then he gave 3 yellow cards to one person (didn't realize you're not actually allowed to leave the field unless the red is produced) and blew before 90 minutes were up.
We've a lot of overhyped refs in this country.
