On the way back from the game. Stoke parked the bus hoping for a lucky/freak goal. Only had a single decent chance. Happy to get 3 points though

talkSport reporting that both Terry and Lampard could be injured and out of the England games.

Lampard has a hernia operation coming up which probably explains his lack of mobility for a few games and why he looked really unhappy taking that penalty (which was a pretty weak effort).

Won't be too sad to see them out of the squad. Playing for England at the moment is something akin to swimming in poison.

Watched the game on Match of the Day, was a pretty fair reflection of the game although the two Stoke attempts were the ONLY two stoke attempts of note in the match (and one of those was safely over). It's a bit annoying hearing the pundits say that Stoke put on a strong performance.

They parked the bus and never committed forward at all. They didn't even play on the counter.

2-0 so far, West Ham have a lot of possession, some reasonable chances but no luck. Gotta feel for Green, second goal was a howler. Fairly even if you ignore the scoreline.

Could be a great day of results.

We've been pretty awful in the second half, Could quite easily be 3-3.

We lost all shape when Terry went off. Ramieres looks like he could take a while to settle in.

Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Alex, Zhirkov, Essien, Benayoun, Mikel, Sturridge, Malouda, Anelka

Not a first choice team but should be enough. Big chance for Sturridge to impress, he's had a bit of a grace period for being so young but now he's going to have to start showing he's got potential to be a world class forward.

Very comfortable. Not a first team and not playing at full pelt most of the time that half but we scored 3 with ease.

Much better to be 3-0 up playing in a relaxed style than 0-0 (or losing) going all out though ^^

4-1 now. Nice that Sturridge scored.

The goal we let in was embarassing, missed by Cech and off Ivanovic's head. We've been just that bit sloppy though and to their credit, they've never stopped attacking us, even 4-0 down.

Todays a great chance to get us some breathing room at the top. It would be great if Liverpool do us a favour but I'm not counting on them.

All we need to do is concentrate on getting the 3 points on our end though. Will be interesting to see if blackpool attack us or park the bus.

From watching Blackpool last season, I don't think they know any way to play other than 'suicidal all out attack'.

Another solid thrashing although for the second time in a week, Ancelotti has told the players to slow down/stop playing at half time.

Maybe he doesn't want Chelsea to seem unsportsmanlike in the way they're demolishing teams or maybe he doesn't want these scores to go to player's heads before we get to tougher matches.

Also thought it was wrong of the ref not to give that last minute penalty. Yes I know it would've rubbed salt into the wounds but no one doubted it was a penalty and that goal difference could cause Blackpool to stay up at the expense of another team. Misplaced sense of charity perhaps.

Anyhow I should've gripe at a 4-0 drubbing. Chelsea are looking pretty fearsome. Bring on Man City.
