The commentary issue was really bloody annoying.

Don't be so sure about that...Inter have Serie A pretty much wrapped up now, and are free to concentrate on Europe, whereas Utd have tough games coming thick and fast.

IMO, Inter v Utd is 50-50 (Utd slight favourites at very best). I also think that Juventus & Roma have great chances to put Chelsea & Arsenal out respectively.

I wouldn't write off the Serie A chasing pack just yet. Inter had a 10 point lead over Roma at this point last season and managed to almost throw it away, and this time they have two teams chasing them. Having said that you wouldn't expect a Mourhino side to throw away a lead like that.

The CL England vs Italy clashes are definitely looking very exciting. Those three ties could all easily go either way, should make for some great viewing.

Pavel Nedved to retire at the end of this season.

A world-class attacking midfielder in his prime, imo, as well as being arguably the key player in a very, very good Czech Republic side that got to the final of Euro '96 and were for a short time an almost permanent fixture in the top 5 of the FIFA World rankings. Awesome at Juventus, I remember him being simply unstoppable in the second leg of the 2003 Champions' League Semi-Final against Real Madrid. Indeed, it was his yellow card in that match that led to him missing that year's final against AC Milan at Old Trafford - his absence was probably the main factor in Juve losing that final.

It's a real shame, he's still got it even at 36. There were a couple of times last night when he outpaced players 10 years younger than him and showed more desire to get to the ball first. I'd really like Juve to get to the final so Nedved can go out in style, it's a real shame that a player of his quality hasn't featured in a Champions League final.

On the Serie A front there are some cracking matches this weekend with Inter vs Roma, Juve vs Napoli, Samp vs Milan and Palermo vs Catania. Gonna be annoying having to go back to watching them over the net after the BBC treated us to the Milan derby. Ah well, hopefully I'll be too busy celebrating a Spurs win on Sunday to remember Inter vs Roma is on

Had Inter to beat Roma after they went down. Would of got £70+ back!

Don't matter though..cracking game. Leads been cut to 7 points (I think)

Inter vs Roma is nearly always something special. Damn shame Roma couldn't hold on, must be gutted to throw away a two goal lead twice. Yup, 7 points between Inter and Juve now. Milan losing to Samp probably puts them too far back now.

Just signed up to OmniSport.TV after reading about it on the Channel 4 football Italia site. It's $9.99 for access to every live match for the rest of the Serie A season so I thought I'd give it a go as it's very little money for the number of matches you get. Hopefully it'll be better quality than the free streams. Juve vs Inter tomorrow, great match to try it out with Inter have surely got the league wrapped up now but a win tomorrow and there's no doubt, they'd be 13 points clear.

Inter are champs again after Milan lost 2-1 to Udinese today. Shame it couldn't go down to the last day like last year. Juve and Milan have both looked like they could put up a challenge to Inter but whenever either of them got the gap down they'd lose form and let Inter get away again.

Really disappointed with Roma this year, don't know what happened to them! Took the title race down to the last 30 mins of the season last year and this year they're not even certain of a UEFA Cup spot yet. Typical Roma though, they're always likely to have a "crisis" season every now and then.

My main hope for this season now is that Genoa can get that final CL spot but it'll probably end up going to Fiorentina.

Yeah, I hope Genoa get it too. They try to play good football based on the few times I've seen them this season and it would be interesting to see them in the Champions League.

How was Omnisport in the end? Better quality than the free streams on the betting sites? I presume if Beckham stays at Milan then we won't have to worry about coverage, as someone is sure to pick up the rights for next season.

It's not too bad, fullscreen on my netbook sitting a couple of feet away and it looks quite good, which is better than I managed with free streams.

I'd keep it if they kept the charge stayed at $9.99 or so per quarter, but once the promotional period I'm on runs out it goes back to $5.99 PER MATCH which is way way too much for what it is. Hopefully though someone will pick it up on TV, the BBC should take it, they need some live sport!

I doubt a UK TV broadcaster will pick up the rights to show live coverage of Serie A next season. Serie A is in decline and has lost it's glamour, and the fact that there have scandals hasn't helped, too.

I agree, doubt it will happen, just hoping against hope really.

From what I've read all the channels that have had it in the last few years (the likes of Bravo, etc) would have kept it if the Italian FA had lowered their asking price. The problem is that they're still asking for the sort of price they were getting when Serie A was much more popular than it is now, so no broadcaster can make a good enough profit from advertising slots unless they can get the rights for a more realistic price.

The Tinker Man has been sacked by Juve. Shame as he's so likeable but they have been on a terrible run of form of late, they're in real danger of being beaten to third place by Fiorentina. Wonder who they'll get next season? Ciro Ferrara is in charge for the last two matches of this season.
