Sunderland's karma came back very quickly yesterday, didn't see Bruce calling for video evidence a fortnight ago at the emirate when we scored a legit goal that got chalked off for offiside and Bramble got a bit lucky on a pen decision.

He's not alone but these myopic managers are really getting on my wick, they don't even try to be consistent or make sense any more.

I'm amazed Man City fans aren't calling for Mancini's head.

It's one thing playing boring undaventurous football when you're getting results but on current form and with the games they've got left, City are heading for 5th place.

You can argue that Mourinho played some dull football but the difference was he always started games with the full intention to win and dialed it down after he felt a game was safe.

Going for a 0-0 with a possible lucky 1-0 on the break isn't how you'd expect a champions league aiming side to play 6+ games a season.

Mancini's reign at city is similar to Paulo Sousa's at Swansea. Sousa was so scared to lose that we didn't attack. Despite the fact that we had the potential to do some serious damage to teams. City need to get shot of him and get a manager with an attacking mentality in.

All a bit embarrassing. Still furious about the performance today.

Judas is doing the bizzo for Ricky Villa today. The Barcodes are winning, too. Another great day in the Premiership!

A sorry performance in many ways for arsenal today, we weren't very good.

I am though totally fed up paying the thick end of a ?100 for a pair of tickets to watch parasitic crap like Blackburn who come to spoil and cheat and make no attempt to put on a game of football at all. The league is full of this rubbish who's sole purpose is to stay in the league whilst putting nothing back into it at all, f*** em all and throw them out and let's get this euro super league going with proper teams that try to win games and put on a show.

By my reckoning at least half the PL is made up of these teams who add nothing at all so get rid of them, and whilst at it who cares about teams like Cardiff, QPR, Norwich etc getting promoted to make up the numbers before they inevitably go back down again.

No alcohol has been taken before the composing of this post, I've just had enough this season of watching defensive cheating rubbish and being expected to pay for the joy of it, we do our bit and usually try to put on a decent game, home or away, its time some other teams realised if you want people to pay top dollar for your product you better put something back in to make it worthwhile for them, or that league you sponge off may realise you're not doing anything for it.

It does annoy me when teams are completely unadventurous and play for 0-0s with a 1-0 if they're very lucky. It produces dull, boring games and it's disrespectful to fans.

There's the whole "it's the only way we can win against bigger side" argument but that's a bunch of rubbish, look at stoke today, they got a point against Chelsea and could've easily won it, they went heavily on the attack and it paid off. We've got a whole bunch of mediocre managers in this league who move from one club to the next and bring with them the attitude that you have to stick 10 men in the box and kick lumps out of players to stifle play *cough*Mark Hughes*cough*.

It must suck to be Manchester United. All season they've been average at best, trying as hard as they can to let teams around them beat them to the title, but nobody wants it and they're going to end up winning it again. They must be wondering what the hell they have to do to lose this thing.

I would normally laugh at moaning Arsenal fans in situations like this but Blackburn really do take the pee. When they played at Villa Park they never won a single tackle...they didn't even try. Every challenge was to take the man and the ref lets em get away with so many its untrue. How they get so few red cards amazes me.

Had the usual nightmare at everton today...stewards, fans, ground all their usual awful self. But delighted with the point. 2 great finishes from Bent and a combination of Makoun being a clown and Jagielka a diver cost us the win. Looking at the replay Beckford probably scored but its no way as clear cut as Moaning Moyes seems to think.

I'd be surprised if QPR or Norwich (or even Leeds, Cardiff, Forest etc...) played like that if they came up.

                      Blackpool *certainly* don't.

It seems to be more the teams that have been up for a while, know they're never going to win it, but can't afford the cash problems of getting demoted.

It's not helped this season by the fact that even now it's still any 3 from about 12 teams that could be relegated.

Another diabolical performance, this time with a result that reflects it.

What can you say about Steve Bruce? It's SCANDALOUS that with the money he's spent, we're below Bolton, Fulham, Stoke and the Mags. THE MAGS FFS. Similarly denied the services of their talismanic striker in January, but rallied since to actually do something alien to Bruce and his band of gutless, soft pussies: attack and play without fear. Since not replacing Bent, and signing RUBBISH like Elmohamady to long deals, who can't cross and can't shoot, Bruce has looked like the clueless, middling, plateaued chump many see him to be. He's somehow made good players look terrible, through a lack of tactical nous and motivation. Of course, their application is similarly to blame, and I'd like to see a row of stocks outside the Stadium of Light with their sorry faces clamped in them for bringing shame to the shirt

Joking aside, this is appalling stuff, and we're in a relegation battle soon unless we're careful. Sixth to twelfth since New Year, and looking way down. 21 points up for grabs to all the teams below, and we're only 6 points out of the zone, so there's going to be some big games coming up where teams fighting for their lives and full of bottle are going to face this ramshackle bunch of hopeless weasels. This team play with fear in their eyes: unacceptable.

You can whisht up - you love Fatty.

It's really annoying because I know our place and accept it. Mid table is ok with me. But what I do expect is that this multi-million team is competitive. It's simply isn't. No fight, no heart, no desire. No leaders either, no-one willing to take command. The pro-Bruce mob point to results in the first half of the season as evidence that he's a good manager. By that qualification, he's also responsible for these bad results, and these terrible performances. I'd also argue that he's a lucky bastard being handed a job with a billionaire at the helm. I'd love to see what he could do with a crap budget, because he certainly can't motivate a **** out of an arsehole. I also think that the earlier good results were partly down to a new bunch of players getting stuck into their new employment as much as any quality on Bruce's part.

my take on sunderland...tho I hate everything and everyone and every....anything else you could use as a word that sh*tc**t potato head has anything to do with...

3 of your most important players are on loan so really why should they care? plus Muntari is another loanee , and the likes of Cattermole are talentless cloggers that somehow are seen as gods by spudface!! losing 50% of your goal scoring was always going to be tough but selling Bent should have no bearing on the defence. You wont go down tho, have enough points already imo

I haven't seen Bruce's post match but who is he blaming for the defeat as usually he cites a free kick given in the 4th minute on the halfway line at 0-0 as a turning point in the match and the cause of everything bad that subsequently happened.

He's in my list of managers I never tire of seeing lose or in relegation trouble. I have no strong dislike of Sunderland as a club but they are in my list of parasite teams who the league could do without.
