    2-1 United.

United to concede first and RvP to save the day.

      1-1 draw I reckon.
RVP to save a point in Fergie-time.

1-3 Torres hatrick in Chucky time. Willian to come out at half-time to sign for Man Utd.

Even at this stage, I can confidently say that we're going down. I've seen this **** before. Awful performances and defeats.

The calibre of players signed by our 'rivals' is far superior to the barrel of turds we've thrifted on. Di Canio doesn't have a clue at this level; the team look terrified to actually do things, and, combined with the hopeless talent levels, it's a recipe for disaster.

I guess you can hope for a Hull 08/09 style survival where three teams shockingly cock it up more than you do. Although they did have the bonus of an impossibly good start that ended up saving them.

Wins for Liverpool and Spurs on Sunday I hope, but bet they're both draws, just hope they are good games, got to be a few goals in the Spurs v Arsenal one for sure.
Love the way Levy is holding off on the Bale transfer just to really screw Arsenal over on the Real Madrid players they're after.

I'm not sure Arsenal's links to those players are anything more than paper talk, and all three (Di Maria, Ozil and Benzema) have been quoted as saying they have no intention of leaving Real Madrid. Watch them sign them all now I've said that Still, if stringing the Bale transfer out does help us, I'm all for it!

Edit: Spanish press saying Arsenal have reached agreement with Madrid for the transfer of Mesut Ozil for €45 + €5 addons. One down, two to go

Ozil to Arsenal for ?42M is the main deal of today so far. Expect lots more activity by the close of play tonight though.

Wow go Arsenal that's some big money! Good player for them I think.

Big signing that one, excellent player. The BBC are reporting that Arsenal are in talks with Chelsea about loaning Demba Ba for the season too.

Ozil hasnt been confirmed just yet, they've agreed to pay the fee to Real but no deal with the player yet. He might not want to go there.

Ah, didn't realise that, thought it was all agreed. Hope he turns them down

Liverpool have added another couple though, Mamadou Sakho & Tiago Ilori, a couple of central defenders for ?25 million. Too early to judge anything but positive signs up at Anfield. If I had to bet, I don't think they'll finish 12 points adrift of the CL places this season.

According to the bits I've read Sakho is a very accomplished defender, someone who has been frozen out at PSG because of big money signings rather than making mistakes or playing poorly.

He is also a French international, so I'm very happy with his signing. With him, Agger, Toure and now Ilori central defence is sorted.

The loan signing of Moses should give them another option up top too. Henderson could be under threat, although in fairness he has done well so far this season.

edit : Also, Guardian is stating ?20m spent on both players.
