0-0 after 28 minutes in the Barca game.

EJG you must have smiled when Arsenal were 2-0 down after eight minutes surely. Back to 2-1 to Hull after half an hour.

Trying my best to ignore what's happening in the FA Cup... My best being to check the score every five minutes Hope Hull can hold on, it'd be a brilliant achievement for them.

Yes, get in there Atletico!!! 1-1!!

What a great second half. The guts and fight Atletico have is amazing, I'll be so disappointed if they don't hold on. 6 mins plus injury time to go.

Atletico Madrid are champions, absolutely brilliant! A superb achievement to win that league considering the astronomical gulf in finances between them and the big two. AND they've done it while being awesome in Europe too. Roll on the double

Half an hour to hold on for Athletico, what an amazing double if they manage to pull it off.

Bugger, poor Atletico. That goal cost me ?150! Extra time now, you'd expect Real to go on and win it, but you can never count Atletico out.

          Sodding Ramos, ?150!

            Baaaaallllleeeeeee!

            10 minutes to go.

If Atletico lose, that's the player I wanted to get the winner.

                3-1, all over now.

Pft, dive by Ronaldo there for that penalty! 4-1 though.

Hmm, okay, he did get caught after seeing that replay. Still went down easy though

Uh oh, Diego Simeone going nuts!

Real had the momentum after about the 75th minute didn't they, like you said it was one the cards once they equalised really.
When does Ronaldo never go down easily eh.

Might whack a few quid on Atletico to go down next season.
They are about to be asset stripped by Europe's big teams.

Might do a double...Atletico and Southampton down!

I feel sorry for Atletico. They physically outplayed Real Madrid until the 50th minute or so. But they could still win if Ramos didn't hit that header.

However, Ancelotti showed why he is so much better than a Mourinho. He keeps the cool, no provocations, and his tactics aren't that defensive.

In this game his choice to sub Khedira was logical (starting him was a stupid move), I thought he would either bring Illaramendi, or he would bring Isco and move Modric to CDM. He did the second thing. But what I didn't see coming was that he would replace Coentrao with Marcelo, because Coentrao looked fit. But THIS was the key to victory, Marcelo is more offensive minded. Marcelo took the left wing and exploited the weakness of Atletico, he was my man of the match with Di Maria (he stood up where Ronaldo and Bale failed to leave a good impression) and ofcourse Ramos for playing a very solid game and his equalizer. Ronaldo bottled again in a final, and his celebration after a useless 4-1 penalty kick was retarded. Ruud van Nistelrooy agreed.

Not the most beautiful game, but it was one with passion and battles. And in the end Real won deserved, Atletico were completely fatiqued after the hour mark.

Brilliant game tonight between Parma and Milan. 4-5 to Milan with a couple of minutes left, both teams having a player sent off, non-stop action the whole way through (and plenty of attractive football from both sides). Looks like Pippo Inzaghi's Milan are going to be fun to watch this season.

Nice to see Atletico Madrid winning the derby against Real the other day too. Hopefully a couple of exciting seasons coming up in Italy and Spain.

It seems that the French football must have done poor ratings for BT Sport last season. So far this season the matches seem to have been relegated to highlights or being shown on the internet, I've only seen Italian and German matches on the European Football Show.

More Honda action tonight with Milan vs Juve. Got a feeling it's not going to have as many goals as the last Milan match

Honda had a tough start to his Milan career last season, struggled to make an impact, but it was always going to be difficult to come in when Milan were having such a poor season. Hopefully he can have a really good season this time.

The mixture of a poor season and playing a playmaker on the wing was a huge part of his failings last season. Not to mention already played a full season with CSKA before his move.
Hopefully can continue his bright start.

Genoa derby between Samp and Genoa tonight. Love this derby as The Marassi is my favourite stadium in world football.
