Disagree, the two most popular team threads were spurs and Man Utd. One vanished when they had one bad season out of 26

It disappeared a long time ago. I think the vast majority of football posters don't post here anymore.

Even the Spurs thread isn't much of a thread really these days. 99% of the recent posts are me and fallenangle chatting back and forth.

It's nice to have somewhere sedate to post after a match though. I tried dedicated football forums but I always quit because of the constant petty arguing you seem to get after every single post.

I used to love the football talk on here. Entertaining, rarely aggressive and full of good opinions.

Midweek friendlies abroad, sod that, Man U must be so desperate to cover Rooney & Falcao's wages

Manchester United are thinking about playing midweek friendly matches abroad in the absence of Champions League football.

So we have now played...and lost...to the 2 big title favourites the last 2 Saturdays.

My take, Chelsea are so much better than Man City that the title race is going to be finished by March.
If I was Aguero I'd have my agent looking for a new place to play. Milner too. 2 class acts in an underwhelming side.

Chelsea are the best team at the moment, but Man City always come on strong after Christmas, one of those two will be champions I'm 99% sure.

Is that it? I guess if magboss is still in charge, your comments would be more amusing.

Can't be bothered to get riled to be honest fella. I just accept humiliation as part and parcel of following ****e like Sunderland. Poy8 is an enigma - he is likeable enough and competent, but is tactically suspect, and has the annoying tendency to absolve himself of all blame after getting stuffed, whinging on about players available to him - strangely he didn't do this after the Stoke victory.

I can only hope he curled a steaming great turd on the dressing room floor before his own players returned to it. Evey sunderland player who bombed in that game should personally visit the house of each travelling fan (the longest trip of the season) and asked to be kicked in the bell-end.

At least your lot are still top flight. We've been on a downward spiral for the last few years and I'm not confident the rot will stop any time soon.

Blimey, Spurs and Villa are both going into next Sunday's match in rip-roaring form.
