I dunno, usually that's the kind of thing managers say when they're trying to make excuses for their own poor record Like Steve Bruce with his "Is it cause I is Geordie?" shtick.

I think Sunderland fans are like most fans, do your best and try to play decent football and you'll be liked. Play terrible football, act in a way that embarrasses the club, and you won't be.

Gah, knew that would happen with Tim coming back to The Lane! Can't complain though, the better team won, we were shoddy and didn't really create any chances of note at all. The best chances went to Villa and there were a couple of occasions where they really should have got a second.

Our win at Villa earlier in the season was pretty jammy, but this time we got what we deserved.
