They simply offered a refund and apologised for sending secondhand stock in error, which they hadn't done, it was ex-shop stock. Basically ignoring the point I was making (include in the product description EX-DISPLAY stock!).

I guess as others have said if receiving Brand New/ Not ex-display stock is important then don't order online from Game, Gameplay or Gamestation.
My dad ordered one of the DS Final Fantasy games from GAME only to receive it with the wrong game inside the box They said it must have been an error at the games "packing" factory... yeah... right! Incidentally it wasn't sealed

I brought 3 games from this sale and one came sealed, whilst the other two came scratched to hell and with sticker residue all over it......... not the type of condition i was expecting.

I haven't opened the 'scuffed' games yet, but if the innards are as new, then I won't kick up a stink. Fingers crossed..........

Shame really as I have used Gameplay loads of time and have had great service from them. But then non of teh items i have brought from them before have been sales items.......

Your fingers may be crossed, but it sounds like Gameplay's are distinctly sticking up at you.

Utter wastes of space there, cancelled my order without telling me over a week ago. Turns out because the last time I ordered something from them was several years ago I'm coming up as a first time buyer and have to have a security check run against me. Tried to fob me off that I'm not on the electoral register at my current address which is complete BS as I've been on it for well over 2 years now.

GAME have apologised for the state of their 'tatty' stock:

GAME has, through Eurogamer, apologised to anybody who received scuffed or damaged "ex-display" games during the busy E…

BS. My friend got a shipment full of nearly destroyed games, and the Cross Edge I got had a VERY tatty box, aside from there being no hatches to close the keep case with. My Unfinished Indecision was in decent shape, but still used. Y'all brits must really mistreat your display cases if they all look like this.

Yeah, this **** has been going on long before easter.

Most of the Christmas sale stock was ex-store as well. A particularly cheap SFIV collector's edition as a good example.

Did any of you read the terms and conditions when you purchased from the Gameplay sale?

If you didn't opt out of a particular clause you'll be getting an email soon...

I never purchased anything from the sale but I'm F5ing this page repeatedly as the intrigue is killing me.
