Just had an e-mail from Play-Asia - a month too late for me but they've now got the GC Component cable back in stock at $60. Not exactly a bargain but I know several people here wanted one and that's not far off the typical eBay second-hand price you'll pay.

            Koro Koro Puzzle: Happy Panechu! (GBA) £10.17 + £1.74 P&P at Play-Asia

Isn't this supposed to be a pretty rare game?

Luckily I got my copy about 5 years ago when I was in Japan!

(Australia, $AU, all in store, 17th April 07)

Did the rounds of the 'gaming' stores after my migraine settled but still wasn't in a condition to go to work

Okay, okay, so I wanted to get RR7, I admit it, okay. But I found all these while browsing.

JB Hi-Fi are selling Age of Empires DS for $44. Tomb Raider Legend on 360 was the same price. And the Classics range on 360 are $39 there at the moment. There were a few very cheap PSP games as well but I can’t remember them, Pirates was $40 I think. Vice City Stories is only $39 as well, but to be honest it’s better to just wait until it gets to $25 in a month or two.

EB are doing a "2 games for $50" (and each additional game for $25) sale. Picked up Mortal Kombat : Shaolin Monks, and their catalogue says that Chromehounds is part of that deal as well, although that EB didn't have it. FEAR and the expansion pack are part of that deal as well (separately). Most of the PS2 stuff was **** but there was plenty of PC RTS games going.

Harvey Norman are doing Import Tuner Challenge and Prey for 360 for $40 each. Still a decimal point to the right too expensive for Prey but hey, it's your money.

Sonic still refuses to drop in price anywhere. Interesting side note : EB have the DS FMA game as an ‘exclusive’. JB Hi Fi often import stuff (they are already selling AC4 I think) so I wonder if they’ll get this in.

And yes, these are what pass for gaming stores in Australia It’s kinda sad when JB Hi-Fi is the best gaming place around. The only other places that sell games in B&M stores are insanely overpriced gaming stores that don’t even import anything interesting in, just stock the same as EB/JB for $10+ extra.

Found copies of Kingdom Hearts II in my local woolies this morning priced up at £20 (should be a nationwide thing) - most retailers and online stores are still flogging this for £30+

Might be a good buy for those not part of the import scene.
