thing is they're selling it at ?99 with a generic poor game, so for an extra ?10 you can pick the most 2 more expensive in the shop or the best 2 in the shop

2/ you get a lite and you can pick any 2 games from the 2 for ?30 range and that costs ?109.99

so far what my local game has advertised only 1 package deal - not 2 but i will try and bring this to there attention when i pick up my lite on Saturday

there is a rumour about a ?119.99 bundle where you get 2 games but i havent seen this advertised in my local store on online at Game's website - maybe G-funk can shed some light onto what bundles they have

i would have preferred to preorder at Gamestation just to get the machine and 1 game for ?99 - UK games do my head in - the packing is so boring

GAME's marketing department ****ed up last weekend when they sent an email to all stores regarding a DS Lite deal that was 119.99 with 2 games from a set selection which included Brain Training, Metroid Prime Hunters,Sonic Rush and a few (****e) others, the deal was priced wrong and they only informed stores about the mistake yesterday but they have to honor that deal if you mention it to staff.

Those online deals at GAME are ****ing terrible, 125 for the Lite and Animal Xing?, they were giving the game away for nowt with the old DS a few weeks back.

Heyup - I can confirm that Game will do you a Lite and two games from their selection of 8 for ?119 if you ask. Least the one in Meadowhall sold me a black DS with Sonic and Sims 2 for that price, even though the offer wasn't on any of the walls.

If you don't have Metroid and Tetris - I reckon that's probably the best retail deal.

I got mine from GAME today.

DS Lite plus Metroid Hunters - ?109.99.

I mentioned the ?119.99 deal & they werent having it, so I made sure I got 1 of the best games from the choice available (the only other game worth getting i.e. more for your money was Sonic Rush).

I phones GS in 2 stores & they are doing the following:

1. DS Lite with a crappy game - ?99,
2. DS Lite with 2 games from their '2 for ?30' range (which by the way the staff member was honest & said all were ****e!) - ?109.99,
3. DS Lite with any game of your choice - ?109.99.

I couldnt wait until next week otherwise I would have gone with the 3rd option with New S Mario Bros as the game.

I gotta say I'm not keen on the way GAME put proper game cases out on display. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to buying 'New' games & prefer to have sealed ones because otherwise you've got staff handling the discs/carts with their manky hands, & I dont class a soiled game as 'new'. My Metroid Hunters was an off the shelf type & I was a bit gutted really!!.

Why dont they do what Woolys does & put out display cases eh?.

they normally have some sealed copies as well; if they are gonna take one off the shelf, ask if you can get a sealed one.

That's bull****, all stores in the region I work in (Central Scotland) were told they had to honor it if the customer brought it up, the staff at the store you got yours from were probably just being wanks/company arse lickers.
