Loopop Cube: Lup * Salad Review - Sony PSP
Puzzle games usually lack a central protagonist. Mr. Straight and Mr. Square from Tetris didn’t have a back story (although Family Guy may have different feelings on that), the coloured blobs of Puyo Puyo are completely interchangeable and all the rest of the tiles, jewels and hexagons from various games exist only because they are part of a faceless puzzle the player is asked to solve. You know, ‘just because’. Loopop Cube is not like that. Loopop Cube comes from more of the ‘Bub and Bob’...

Hitman: Absolution Review - Microsoft Xbox360
Hitman: Absolution marks the long awaited return of contract killer Agent 47 in another third person stealth offering from Io. This release has given the title a modern, shiny graphical sheen and turned in a more accomplished, sequential storyline to bring it up to modern day player expectations, but in doing so manages to stay true to its roots and not compromise on the core basis that has brought it this far.

Devil May Cry Review - Sony PS2
Devil May Cry is the seventh title in Capcoms "Survival Horror" catalogue of games which from Biohazard to Dino Crisis have received huge critical and commercial success. Many believe the series reached its peak with the arrival of the awesome Biohazard: Code Veronica on the Dreamcast, a fact accentuated by the last game in the series Onimusha, which has been viewed as something of a missed opportunity and ultimately a disappointment. Have Capcom got the series back on track? Or are they merely...

Winning Eleven 5 Review - Sony PS2
(Originally published in 2001) Finally the wait is over! Winning Eleven is here on PS2! The jikkyou perfect striker games ( N64 and the first 2 PS2 ISS games ) have in my opinion always been inferior to the winning eleven games ( Iss pro evo games on PSOne ). Any true fan of soccer will recognize that the winning eleven series were the most accurate and best when it comes to a game of soccer on any computer.

Gran Turismo 3 Review - Sony PS2
When Sony first unveiled PS2 to the public it was running an advanced version of GT2. It looked very promising and Sony claimed it would be ready for the PS2 Japanese launch. Come launch day it was not present and gamers were then told that it will be ready sometime around December 2000. Come Dec 2000 and there was still no sign of it, and with Sony sweating because up to that point games for the PS2 were not up to the standard many gamers expected. The delays did not look good.

DiRT 3 review - Microsoft Xbox360
As many of you know, we're huge fans of Rallisport Challenge 2 on the original Xbox and DiRT3 is similar in many ways. Whilst it’s not all peachy, Codemasters have come tantalisingly close to perfection in this iteration.
The problem that designers of rally games are faced with is that there aren’t that many pure point-to-point time trail rally fans and with previously huge rally manufacturers dropping out of the WRC, an audience must be found to actually make money. DiRT has approached this ... -

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Review - Microsoft Xbox360
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive marks the latest instalment in the multiplayer-focused first person shooter franchise, releasing simultaneously on consoles as well as the PC. The Counter-Strike series has always been famous for its harsh learning curve, a system that over time sees initial frustrations give way to an appreciation of its incredible intricacies, rewarding both tactical play and quick-fire reaction times. In the past Valve have always managed to balance these two elements of careful...
