Well just polished off the sp and...

      Not real SPOILERS but...

WTF was that ending all about!?!!??! I was all ready to rock on to Earth and sort it all out and that's it, all over...? Are you taking the piss...lol? Dunno what I feel, exhilarated followed by disappointed and wtf have you been doing for the last 4 years? A bit harsh admittedly but I was so ready to get back onto Earth and have it, as it were. I can't wait another 3/4 years to do that. Grrr...

Ok more calmy, loved it all, it's Halo but bigger and better and am looking fwd to going back through on the higher settings. Great but that ending, you gits Bungie!!!

As for the mp though, absolutely blinding imo and I've been playing online games for too many years. It just totally works. Had a few goes initially and was yeh ok, then last night met up with a lot of my m8's and started at 10pm and oops, oh dear it's 4.45am and I still want to play more...lol!

Brilliantly executed and just so enjoyable (so that's what they spent their time doing (see above)). Some really great maps in there and once you start using some decent tactics and communicating with your team it comes alive.

As I think someone has already said, 'greatest console mp game yet', I think they may be right... 8)

i actually think the MP is pretty average, adding live support to any average game tends to make it far more fun than it should be, PGR for instance.

Perfect Dark is still MP king in my books, on consoles anyway.

          You joking right
HALO 2 kicks the baboon-like ass of PD Multi player ,and gives some of the PC Muliplayer FPS a good kick in the gob

I don't know if I go that far.
But for LIVE this is the best yet

Multiplayer is superb. Played a few games last night with six teams of two. Hunting in pairs has never been so much fun.

In Optimatch, I've also had the misfortune to have more than one Yank call me a '****in' pussy!' for smacking him on the back of his noggin with a shotgun. Their language is quite shocking! I've taken to only wearing the headset in arranged games.

With a young family and and numerous household chores to do, it's not always easy to get onto Live, however, if anyone fancies a game and can resist calling me a pussy, I'd be delighted.

Had some great multiplayer games today, best so far. Although I can see why some people haven't enjoyed multi-player as much yet as it can totally depend on map/game type/other player etc. There are so many variables that can make or break your experience. My advice would be to stick at it, once you get a good team who communicate well it's unbeatable in my opinion.

How can the game vary so much? Really, is it that effected by the players?

Definitely, try playing a team game where no-one is communicating, just doesn't work. Played a game of CTF earlier and people were going solo for the flag and not shouting for backup when they got it, makes it near impossible to get back to base with it.

Playing a game with decent tactics makes it so much better for me, arranging one group to draw the enemies attention while your group sneaks up the other side makes for a feeling of pure satisfaction if you pull it off.

                        I agree with g-funk.

I also had an absolute hoot yesterday playing Capture The Flag for hours with a dozen other players, who obviously knew how to play the game ... the tactics, the teamwork ... great stuff.

On the other hand, I've also wasted time in games that were obviously populated with idiots who were more interested in trashtalking and cheap kills than actually contributing to an involving game.

Found this on another forum, apparrently from Bungie explaining the texture pop-in.

NintendoNo1 asks: I see textures popping on cutscenes. Is something wrong with my copy of the game?

No, those textures popping in are part of the small price you pay for no loading timesNintendoNo1 asks: I see textures popping on cutscenes. Is something wrong with my copy of the game?

Can someone explain this to me please?

Why is Co-Op mode an option when you create an Xbox Live party? It says that you have to have two people on the same console to play it, but... Why's it on Xbox Live matchmaking?

Thats what I was wondering today.

It's time to experiment, I think.

Grab a second controller, sign a guest on and one of us create a game. Two people, two guests, and we'll see what happens.

Edit: Just tried it. It doesn't work. It only works on one console, two players, but on Xbox Live.

                                WTF!
