Well, as I posted in the General Gaming folder, thanks to my new best friend I got a copy this evening
I've only had a quick 30 minute go so far, but it really is brilliant stuff.
The graphics are influenced by A Link To The Past, and have been updated in many respects. It works wonderfully on the GBA screen. The colours and images are familiar straight away to anyone who's a fan of LTTP - and I'm sure there are a fair few out there
Even the music and sound effects are typical Zelda, from the floaty profile screen music, through to the sound effects and the characters shouts when you first talk to them. Its so nostalgic that when you get to Hyrule Field you won't be able to stop yourself humming along with the theme tune.
The menu / map and interface is still done in the now obligatory OOT style too.
As I'm not far in, I can't comment on the storyline yet. Basically its a typical Zelda affair, with Zelda getting herself into peril and you being given a sword and (tiny) shield to go and save the day. At least this time they've given an explanation as to why they've decided to send a young child into mortal danger
My advice, go and get it tommorow by hastling any store you can to give it to you a day or two early. This is one of the games your GBA was made for.
