Regarding the whole 'END' boss battle thing

Apparently if you save the game during the End boss battle and then leave the game for about a week - or skip the PS2 clock on a week, apparently when you load the game back up again, rather than seeing the end shooting you and taking you off you see something quite different....

You get a cutscene where Snake is creeping up on the End, only to find he isn't reacting - simply because he's dead!!! He's old anyway so you taking to long to get him he just dies of old age

You do get a tongue lashing from Zero etc but still a great idea implimented into the game!

I did wonder why Para-medic warns you about saving during the fight with The End.

Like Concept, that's the sort of brilliant and subtle touch I love these games for!

Ok so i'm well into this now.

I've got used to the camera and it's fun to just look upon it as another aspect of the gameplay rather than an unintentional annoyance.

Selecting appropriate sensors accomodates most eventuallities.

Not being able to see an assailant who is literally inches in front of you before he opens fire is, however, unforgivable in 2004.

A quick switch from 1st person to normal view usually does the trick no?

prison bit after the severe beating Snake gets! OOfff!! >_<, and had saved my game in the cell, that para-medic starts mentioning Dracula which annoys Snake. I restart the game at a later point only to think my game has crashed, black screen, ? Then after a few seconds it loads some ****ed up 3rd person slash em up! Thought I was playing the new Devil May cry The ****ed up police, weird messages on the walls! ^_^'

I tranqed The Fury but never got his camo - where are you meant to pick it up? The room collapses after he dies (in a very Doom 3 manner, I might add)

You should be able to pick it up, when you regain control of Snake. The camo should be right next to you.

Can I just add that MGS3 has the best shotgun of any game ever.

Last fight with the Boss so atmospheric and the ending very satisfying. On a side note anyone hazard a guess as to who the Boss' son would be, the one "stolen" by the philosophers (aka the Patriots now) ?

The End boss fight, wish I'd finished im' off earlier had I obtained the SDV; still it's proving to be quite a time-consuming challenge, any tips?

when he shoots you .. look on your map screen it shows his position in red.. then sneak up on him...
