looks like it unfortunately. I was pretty lucky when i got it, since i just CQC-dazed her, then got in a few tranq hits. Fortunately she was on a slither of life, and when she dropped, the camo was near her.

ADAM is Ocelot and he works for the US. He double-crossed everyone involved and stole the Patriot cash, conning the conmen. I think EVA's story is meant to be true, but that she was tricked into stealing a fake disk.

Yeah, it's official lads, The Boss battle is the best ever. This is exactly how a Metal Gear Online game would work. Excellent stuff!

I did manage to sneak up on her without being detected, but it appears any CQC hold technique is ineffective. Doh, stick to the takedown methinks.

Where are you up to? It's a pretty basic story up until the end. Only then does it get a little more intricate, but it's still comprehensible.

just played the bike sequence near the end again and am I wrong in thinking it's probably the best on rails shooter in any game? For me, it's the moment in the game where it leaped from being 'very good' to '****ing amazing'. For that portion of the game, I was actually in an bad ass action movie being chased by a giant robot.

Having said that, the actual battle against Shagohad was pretty tame. Although I guess that's the limitations of 60s technology! Guess I should try it in hard mode!

as spectacle it was ok. As gaming, it was pretty meh. Aiming is too inaccurate with the automatic rifles to be great, and the constant movement of the bike is far more off putting than in, say, PDO or Rez. It looks really good and is very cinematic, but it's pretty basic gaming. He even makes the enemies easier to kill in that bit, showing how out-of-step it is with the rest of the game.

Really enjoying the game so far although i'm finding it difficult to be stealthy all the time and for some reason the radio frequency that i get off the guard doesn't seem to be working but i just figured that i wrote it down incorrecty.

One thing that pissed me off last night though was i the fact that i just reached 'The Sorrow' and i walked all the way down the stupid bloody stream/river thingy avoiding all of the spirits (most anyway) and i had about half of my health left at the end only to instantly die for no apparent reason.
Can someone please tell me if there is a quicker way to get through that bit because if i have to walk the whole thing again i won't be a happy bunny.
It pissed me off the first time so much that i just turned off my ps2 and played Viewtiful joe 2 instead.... unfortunately i'm terrible at that game as i've only played it for about 1hour and i can't quite figure out the best way to approach things.
