Oddly enough im showboating more with the xbox pad than i ever did with the ps2 one. I dont use the d-pad though, since its quite ass on the s pad. It just takes an hour or so getting used to it. fooled two defenders and the keeper with a bit of skill yesterday.

So is anyone on this forum considering updating all their UK teams/players info to make it appear fully licensed? I'm sure if a few of us got onto it then it wouldn't take very long! I'm sure everyone would appreciate a quality download of this nature! What do you guys think?

If you update the option file with proper names are they updated when you play online?

Good question mate! Although I have not tried this yet myself, logic would tell you that it should be. The game itself recognises each player, team, etc purely as a data reference. Your save file simply superseeds what the concerning text fields should each be displayed as depending on your personal save file on your hard drive.

So can anyone confirm this from experience then?

But seriously... I can see that a few of the FAQs on GameFAQs.com have comprehensive lists of what the PS2 updates should be. Can anyone confirm if the original names on the Xbox version are the same as the PS2?

Are you both referring to whether you can view your own player names or those of your opponent's team?

Any changes you do to the teams, whether it be names or players etc wont be useable online.

Played my first 8 games tonight, got used to the pad very quickly. Think its because the placement of the analogue is the same place as the PS2 d pad.

Excellent on Live, only noticed a small amount of lag on a couple of the games.

What a debut, i pwned inter milan 3-1 (with barca), not bad for my first go of the pad.

Had 3 excellent games with some bloke with Real Madrid 1-1 3-3 then 4-2 to me

cheers for te games g-funk, bot hwere very tight, your attack is good and I suprisingly defended pretty well.

Had some of the best matches I've had with Mardigan8 last-night. All of em' were really tight, could've gone either way. We found ourselves cancelling each other out with our attack and defensive plays.

Mardigan won the first two games we had 1-0, then on the third game I managed an equaliser with Larsson to draw level at 2-2, then on our fourth game I nicked it 2-1 with Larsson blasting home from 2 yards.

This IS what Pro Evo should be.

I tried the 433 formation last night and seemed to play pretty well with it. 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats (all be it on penalties and after extra time)

Now need to stock my formationas it has bloody disapeared again

I hate extra-time. I had a game yesterday, playing away, down to 10-men after a reckless challenge, but managed to grind out a 0-0 draw after normal time. Then came extra-time, another one of my guys was sent off for a perfectly good challenge and I eventually went down 3-0 in the end.

Poxy extra time. >_<

The games last night were ace. Exactly how it should be between 2 solid teams, tough exchanges in midfield withthe aply flowing to either end. Knicked the first game with a nice 20 Yard drive into the botom corner by Deco, then the rest of my goals were mostly headers from sweet crosses.

Bleeders equalizer in the 2-2 game was sweet, 30 seconds left corner comes in and Larsson powers it home. Felt as if he REALLY wanted that goal the way he put it in, hehe!!

Accumulated to the best games I have had on live yet. The depth in the strategies is immeasurable if used correctly and both our Barca's showed that last night!!

Agreed - neither of us were giving anything away. Can't wait to play again. Probably won't be till Thursday/Friday now though fella. >_<

Playing Ronnie deeper certainly helps though, since I find he sits on the shoulder of the full-back a little bit more and similarly drops off him when not in possession.

Your Guily though. I still find it hard to believe some leave him out for Garcia.
