It's a somewhat widespread problem with PSPs and certain sandisk cards it seems. See this hardcore prodding video

I suppose you could be really careful and use sandpaper to thin the card down a bit, not really the kind of thing you want to be doing to your expensive new kit though, is it?!

Well I've just spent about 2-3 mins just pushing the Sandisk stick in and out about 60% - enough so its still springy and I can now put it about 90% into the MS slot and I can use my finger to pop it back out rather than a screwdriver or knife.

I can see the problem when I really compare the 2 sticks - the Sandisk case is a tiny bit thicker than the official Sony one. Not enough more than likely to trouble most devices but enough to obviously mess up the eject on the PSP.

Mines got loads of fine scratches on the whole surface and not just the screen. It pissed me off a bit but u can't notice them unless you are directly under a light and the screen is turned off.

After 2 weeks now i found the PSP to be very cramp machine and my hands start to ache after a while. I'm also not a fan of where the mem stick is placed as i keep "flipping" the cover open whilst playing. Another problem which i've seen whilst letting someone play my PSP was that they accidently switched to standby mode when they were playing.

Big hands, perchance? I have none of these problems! Certainly not heard anyone on here mention opening the memory stick bit by accident. If it's going into standby, put in in the 'HOLD' position.

I've had some probs while playing RR as well, like it froze on me once and 2-3 the music hasn't loaded.

Again no-one else, anywhere, is saying this. Faulty unit or faulty disk, maybe?

Well, that could hinder the gameplay somewhat.

I had my first crash this morning in the photo viewer. Tried to zoom in and it just locked up. Before I had the chance to switch it off, it powered off by itself. Battery was 100%.

So has anyone else tried using the psp for scanning wireless networks in there area yet? Having read ign article in finding one when they were in starbucks i thought i give it a try when walking home the other day. And to my suprise it picked up 2 wireless networks One was encrypted with a strong signal strength and the other was at the top of my road which wasn`t encrypted but had a crap signal strength and couldn`t connect. Quite suprised me that it picked up any tbh. Anyone else had any success in doing this yet?

Yeah, I drove around my area and picked up loads - lots of them not encrypted at all.
