      Thanks for the input Zapp$ter.
I actually got around it by selecting no encryption.

So it now says connecting, and after 20 seconds "A connection error occurred (80110482)".
      Dunno what it means.

So I can go scan and it finds my network, when it connects it gives that error.

TBH it would be nice to know what connecting wirelessly to my network does, but I aint to arsed ATM because my games turned up.
      Isn't Lumines really lovely?

Nothing, just allocates an IP address and pings some host at SCE.

        Works fine for me.

Just bought myself one of the Sandisk 512mb Memory Sticks off Ebay and having a major problem with it - how can it be the exact same dimensions as the Sony Memory Stick, yet the blasted thing gets stuck in the Memory Card slot on the PSP?!?!?

I put the official one in and you push down for and it clicks out
I put the Sandisk one in the exact same way and although it goes in fine, it simply does not come out without using a Knife and patience!!!!!

          Any help?

THB I find the Sony one can get a little stuck when you try and remove it. Unless you let the mem card ping up with its full force it doesnt want to come out.

Push the card in with your nail and slide off your nail letting the card be pushed up as hard as the sprung mechanism will push it, rather than allowing the card to push your finger then trying to pull it out.

I read about the same problem on another board.

Sounds like a certain batch of them have slightly different casing dimensions.

I would try and get a refund and maybe think of buying one from another seller, the fact that it doesn't fit the device properly should be good grounds for a refund.

Why when u are in the PSP Home menu, and you select game saves, it says that there are no saves, yet i have a game save for Ridge Racers??

That's worrying :S mine shows up Ridge option file, Ridge ghosts and Lumines save games.

You might be getting mixed up with the 'game' directory (it just says Memory Stick). Try scrolling up and there should be an option call 'Saved Data Utility'.

Oh, almost forgot to mention. Found this little utility on some random Korean site. It's a txt->jpg app. Type stuff in, click go and it spits out a jpg just the right size for the PSP

                        *edit again*

Just found this too - PSP SaveData Viewer, but I can't get it working atm.

Well considering the packaging is in bits and the Memory Stick itself is a little tatty now due to its removal attempts, I don't really stand a chance!

Found a easier way of removing it now - if put it in about 90%, then it just needs a slight nudge on the left hand with a Flat Head screwdriver for it to just pop out.

Just tried my Memory stick i got from that ebay member, and mine comes out fine! Are you sure that its not actually the PSP thats causing the problem and not the stick John316?

It ejects the Sony stick perfectly

It's a somewhat widespread problem with PSPs and certain sandisk cards it seems. See this hardcore prodding video

I suppose you could be really careful and use sandpaper to thin the card down a bit, not really the kind of thing you want to be doing to your expensive new kit though, is it?!
