Hold it in the off position for a few seconds.

Oooh - just found out that you can eject the memory card by pushing it in a little - it then pops out by itself when you release the pressure. I'd been just pulling it out by brute force before now.

The shoulder buttons to me seem a bit wonky and loose. Is this the case with everyone?

I wouldn't go as far as to say wonky and loose, but mine aren't exactly firmly in place either

Dont know is this is any use to you guys ,

Was reading about a guy who used a memory card jack to use a Memory Stick Duo instead of the Pro on his PSP, I think the Memory Stick Duo goes up to 4G and is cheaper. Ill dig out the article if anyone is interested in reading what he did and where he bought the adapter Jack thingy to do it

            drop me a PM

May be missing something here, but the Sampler disc, how do I get to anything other than the game videos? Goes straight into the games videos when it boots and tried pressing everything to no avail..... Help!

Select video in the psp menu system and the umd option should be there for the video side of the disc. Select music in the psp menu for the music side of the disc. There all seperate which suprised me at first.

****e. I thought it was just game videos on there. It went straight on to them and I thought that was it.

Nicely. Cost me no rubs too.

                      Safe.

Whats the range on wifi gaming? Is it totally local (like 10-20m) or will i be able to detect and play if people up and down my street have PSPs too? (100-200+m)

Yikes! RTFM and it works like all other memory stick devices i've used. Hope you havent damaged it.

Oh and my USA PSP seems rock solid - no squeaky D-pad, shoulder buttons firm, no dead pixels from the box (yeah, yeah wait 3 days), and square button responsive. Just got a good one, or did they improve things for the USA version?

One last question: my software version is 1.5 (IIRC) is this the updated one then?

                              Yeah 1.5 is the update.

Is there a thread to tell a dumbass how to install the firmware update? The dumbass being me.
