How did you manage to slide your memory stick out? I don't want to do any damage to my PSP ior memory stick

I got a 1GB today and tested to see if it would fit and it does, except it doesn't pop out when you push down on it . I can't see why either, because the dimensions seem to be exactly the same as the 128MB stick that I have.

In other news, this green background is a bit fruity. Nicely.

I have a SanDisk1GB and it works fine. I still have my 512MB stick also and interchange them depending on what I want to watch and the 1GB comes out no problem. Maybe Neil has a dodgy one?

Also, just had my first long haul flight to New York with the PSP and it lasted the whole journey on one battery (I have a spare anyway). I watched 7 episodes of Friends and played RRacers for a while. The crew even asked me what machine it was!

i got a jewelers screwdriver and slipped it under the stick in the small recess that is present on the inner side of the PSP and then pressed with my thumb and slowly moved it out.

This isn't a PSP fault, the sandisc stick is slightly wider, its micrometers but its present for sure. I compared it to the sony 512 and the sandisc 512 in my stepdaughters psp and the the other two have a slight chamfer of the edges whilst the Sandisk 1G doesn't. It does go in ok if a bit tight, it just gets stuck so you can't get it out. I suspect the newer sandiscs have been fixed though, I've heard Sandisk had similiar issues with Compact flash from one of the guys in our office.

Don't think there's anything available at the moment that uses it, but it could be the Logic 3 know what's to come from Sony.

                hi all

stupid q about charging when your charging the PSP does the orange light go on to incute the battery is charged?

                Comment

Yes, Orange indicates it`s on charge. When it`s fully charged the light goes out.

Actually you can do that in the upcoming EA games.....can't wait for my copy of FIFA!

A question for those in the know (I have had my PSP since last Saturday). I am considerinf the purchase of a second battery pack as currently Yes-Asia appear to be the cheapest and of course you can get free delivery and it also includes Vat and Duty paid. Is it worth buying one?

Personally I'm going to wait until a longer lasting battery pack is released and buy one of them instead. If the current one isn't adequate enough for you needs then I'd say go ahead and buy one now.
