      Region

This may be a stupid question, UMD is the same as DVD when it comes to region right? So if I purchase a Japanese PSP I can play UK UMD (Also Region 2)

That seems to be the the assumption so far.

Any earphones should work...or do you mean ones that use the jack and the little oblongy hole bit (technical eh)

Just tried mine (from a Sony MZ-R900) no joy. The oblongy bit (!) on the headphones is too big for the oblongy hole in the PSP..bummer

Shame as the PSP remote is poo...and using just the jack is likely to knacker the connection over time

There is a post on it somewhere on these boards, probably in this very thread. More accuracy than that...'fraid not!

Well personally I use iTunes which does it easily but I think somebody recommended this before.

you can just plug a PS2 figure of 8 lead into the PSP's charger can't you? because the person i'm importing off has sent me emails raving to me that i need a stepdown converter so i don't blow it up, i'm sure it's multi voltage though. right?
