Just saw these new accessories at PA:

There's a nice soft case here:

Oh, and they have some cheap USB power leads too (to charge PSP from a PC):

Yeah, I know how to mute it once it's on, but I was hoping there would be some way to make it turn on in mute mode so I don't bother people on the train with a burst of noise if I've left the volume up.

I do try to remember to mute it before I turn it off, but I generally forget.

So is there a definative way of cleaning the screen and what is the best solution to use.. LCD cleaner or something like that perhaps ?

Mine has one dead pixel (least it looks like one) in the middle, which you don't see in-game unless your on a plain white background... and some trapped dust at the bottom which I could probably remove.
It does not annoy me however.

I got a dead pixel too , it doesnt distract at all so it doesnt really bother me much . As for cleaning the blessed finger print magnet , I just use a cleaning cloth that comes with yer specs , it does the job a treat

                Got mine today.

3 dead pixels! Only noticable on pure black screens though. It's fine during gameplay and video playback, so it's not too bad.

Squeaky as buggery right d-pad too. Grr.

Mine was like that but had disappeared with heavy use!

Oh, and one dead pixel, you would never know when playing though.

I thought dead pixels wouldnt bother me too much.....I had two. Once I knew they were there it just annoyed me so much. Needless to say I got rid of the machine and bought another.

Mine had four dead pixels when i bought it, and like people said, they're only visible on blank screens, not even slightly noticeable during gameplay!

But they go TOTALLY unnoticed during gameplay...

                            TOTALLY?

would depend where there were, and on the player.

well mine is just off centre on the screen...and goes TOTALLY unnoticed

I think I've been quite lucky with my DS and PSP, as neither have any dead pixels, although the PSP screen has a couple of tiny marks / imperfections.

One looks like a really small chip at the top of the screen, and the other looks more like a tiny dent, but they're both so small you can't even notice them when playing it.

I haven't got a decent cleaning cloth yet either, so there's always a chance they're just marks that will come off *fingers crossed*
