I do all the Scientific stuff (Royal Guard routines, parries and Aerial Rave Swordmaster stuff etc) and follow very set routines which I perfect over a long period. My friend plays completely different to me; everything is on-the-fly - he's a better player but most of the time he cant put into words what he's doing but blud HE BRINGS WAR!

Well Trickster looks like his forte, total toying with them Reapers. Am into some trickster and Gunslinger at the moment, just mixing **** up and looking like a gun wielding Gladiator. The joy of ripping Rain Storm cancel into air hike repeat is fantastic.

So much still to do, this game will live forever!!

Well, my recent devotion to Dantology hit a climax last night, leaving Vergil crying at my feet... Mission 20 SS Rank with a finish time of 1 minute 37 seconds... I almost shed a tear aswell.

It was a Venom inspired battle after watching his RG pwnge of V... skillz are the **** mate... releasing DT on him during my second attack string brough his health down to under 50% (20 seconds gone)... some sick RG rips later and I buss a fully charged release, his tears start to flow. When he threw his sword and it does the helicopter thing?? Yeah, I decided to parry every hit it tried on me

Am given this to my mate for 2 weeks while I am on holiday. Couldn't leave without tearing Vergil a new one and it was accomplished with some beauty. Thanks for the inspiration Venom... am getting there

Oh, and Vanguard 2 hit kill without using sword or gun... is there anything sicker that that, brilliant!!

Good to hear that mate! See, with practice DMC3 isn't hard at all.

Here's a vid I made against Arkham on Hard, using Trickster, Rebellion, E&I and A&R.
When you attack Arkham always make sure you get behind him, that way he can't hit you. When he flashes green, dogde his spears and attack again. When he flashes purple equip kalina ann and get ready to get rid of those worm like creatures that he throws at you. Kalina ann is really, really effective as one shot can take out a swarm of them and it raises your style metre quickly.
Rinse and repeat!!!

Cant get those vids working man Sounds like you bussin the exact same meth on Arkham as I did. Lady's weapon does much damage to worms I was a bit dissapointed that he went out so easily tbh - probably because I stumbled on such a sick routine on the first encounter...

It's as follows blud:

Devil Trigger held down to fully charge all the yellow Devil Orbs to Red, Parry his attacks till your Release is full, then release L1 (which activates the charged Devil Trigger = half his life bar) - then buss R1 + O + forward on L stick and that's the rest! (2 hit kill)

This also kills the Gigapede in seconds!

Isn't R1 + O + forward a parry?
If so do this mean you will will take off more if you time it to parry an attack also??

I'm thinking about DMD bosses here...

No, it releases the energy stored from parrying attacks hence the word "Release". Parrying is done with the o button. You can cause more damage to enemies with a "Just Release". Just perform it with the same timing as a parry. Take a look at the Beowulf vid posted earlier on for an idea of how much damage you can inflict with it.

Another Virgil3 vid (Hard mode). This time using meths from both Normal and Hard mode, hence the quicker time. Again, no damage taken!
