I did look in the files for info on these moves but didn't see them.. hmm...
Thats the one... Dante starts it by saying "Are you ready..." then goes mental.

My favourite combination at the moment has been Rebellion and A&R... using both of these for air time then switching mid air combo to continue it with the other weapon looks far too nasty. Couple that with an air hike and enemy step and you looking at some aerial **** that is off the chart. Still getting to grip with the enemy step at the moment but its getting there

I am gonna get some more Cerberus soon though. Initially I didnt want to use anything else and now with the Revolver cancel technique it is a whole new weapon.

Saur's doing one. Which technique do you want to know more about?

At the moment I'm either Rebellion or Beowulf as my main weapon with Nevan thrown in for aerial lightshows with RG style. E&I with Kali-Anne for a nice big end of string explosion.

I haven't managed to do the Spinning Kick around Rebellion or the stabbing thing with A&R o_O Lots to learn about Swordmaster still. Is that where the O tapping comes in?

            Here you go:

            Rebellion (Swordmaster)
            Dance Macabre: R1 + Forward + O
Crazy Dance: Keep tapping O during Dance Macabre

i would like to learn enemy step cancelling
and the move forward and triangle with cereberus the way its cancelled into a small hop in midair though i suspect it might just be faster reactions i need

If you sort out enemy step you will manage the revolver cancel into repeat. Some fine ass button movement is required, it aint easy, but as you can see, the results are worth it.

Once you kick off Dance Macabre as long as you are pressing O fast enough and you dont get ripped open by another enemy you will continue with the move until the spinning round the sword into final hit. Basically it is just like the move you can do where you grab a pole / spike and spin round it.

                  Ok here goes:

Enemy Step is the process of using an enemy's body to jump off of. Enemy Step cancelling is where you perform a move that makes contact with the enemy allowing you to cancel that move with the jump button and back into another move. There are 2 types of Enemy Step cancelling, Regular and Severe!
The timing for regular Enemy Step cancelling isn't very severe and just takes practice. Try doing Killer Bees and cancelling with the jump button.
Severe on the other hand requires you not to cancel by pressing the jump button completely but by sliding across it as you press the button required for the next move.

                  Examples:
                  Infinite A&R aerial slashes
Multiple air Revolvers (Check out Saur's vid and SM(2) for aerial rave examples).
Beowulf - Hammer into Killer Bee into Volcano. (Check my vid, SM(1))

To cancel Cerberus' air Revolver, perform the move as usual and as soon as Dante makes contact slide across the the X button as you press Triangle to perform the Revolver. You should barley make contact with the X button and you have to be quick!

Saurs Royal Guard technique feature is in the Reviews Thread, should be good for gettig to grips with that style and its immense depth.

We need to make sure and cover the simple things aswell, like remembering to use your Devil Trigger charge release. I honestly didnt use this until half way through my second play through on hard and I now dont know how I beat a boss without it. Vanguard for example... one of these and a RG release turns him to dust in 2 moves (no weapons)... that is some serious (and simple) pwnge.

Forgot to mention. I find many of these Enemy Step techniques work best on Hell Sloths (the sand people) so practice on level 4. Just run in and out of the nightclub. Hell Sloths just keep respawning!

                              The Fallen.

Rebellion's Helm Breaker and Beowulf's Killer Bee are particularly good as they like to stay airborne. Combo them when on the ground.
