Companies in the UK seriously miss out on good promotional opportunities by ignoring the play element of releases, there's a huge gap where skill DVDs should be.
had a picture of someone releasing a tutorial/skill DVD for dmc3 with somebody talking through techniques from beginner to advanced and then showing o the skills at the end

    i would buy it

I dont know how many music videos I watched of the very first Halo 2 teaser... but it showed you nothing!!

Totally agree Saur... the quality of the stuff floating about in here is off the chart. Getting it all together and cutting it with some sweet sounds is a must and I would if I thought I could nail it. Maybe give it a try once I get my own video recording stuff set-up but for now someone please listen and cut this **** a hole in everyones brain.

The amount of people who complain about it being hard is crazy so they need to see this stuff and know where they going wrong.

Yes i am not to bad at the game but when it comes to some of these clips that is serious stuff and beyond me.Writing down techniques is good but seeing them being performed and someone talking while he is doing them would make it a lot easier to learn

like for example i got this guilty gear xx techinque dvd watching it is so much easier then trying the same techniques that have been written down you can work out timing better

Forgive the rather pedestrian question, but with Royal Guard can you parry absolutely every attack in the game?

Some tightly edited moments from all three Vergil kickoffs showing off Dante's different styles and weapons in each section and allowing Vergil's difficulty curve to be presented would be the **** for me. Also cut between all Vergil's insane attacks ending with his Devil Strutting

@ Geoff D - Yeah some people can - Not me though, not yet...

Cool. Best I get practicing then (I'm hopeless at DMC)

Anything (and I mean ANYTHING) that can take damage off of Dante can be parried! So that's every single attack, every obstacle, every explosion - even the little baby spiders that cling to you, if you know the timing you can parry the tiny amount of damage they take if you leave them on you. It's incredible!

In the right hands Royal Guard is beyond anything you can imagine. The boy Saurain had a vid Parrying a spinning bit of floor that does damage when touched... he just jumps on it, parries as he lands on it and contimues to parry it, I mean who tries that, the boy is the inspiration behind the RG love.

Its so tru tho I would love to be a fly on the wall when Saur is try all this stuff out for the first time and then going "HOOOOOO the **** works!!!"

It was MINT! I just finished an epic Royal Guard session with the spiders, put the pad down to take a couple tokes, picked it up and pushed guard as I did - Dante parried at that exact moment. I had one of them baby spiders on Dante's back and I didnt notice it was there, it attacked the exact moment I touched the controller - crazy **** happens in The Lab!

I remember a video you posted ages ago of Dante parrying explosions That for me was the point when I realised just how bat**** insane this game could be in the right hands

That's the thing about this game, so much love went into it's development and it has everything a 10/10 game has IMO. When they first announced this game I was really doubtful after playing DMC2 but this has totally blown me away and I'll keep playing this until I've nailed everything!

Another DMD boss vid. This time against Nevan using Quicksilver. This fight's pretty long like all DMD boss fights!
