    Fahrenheit Xbox

Got this home today... and i've been absolutely gob smacked by it's awesomeness.

If you've played the demo, then you'll know that it leaves with a very gripping scenario and cliffhanger... but it just gets better...and better.

I cant really say much because it's all stuff i wanna keep secret but you WILL NOT be dissapointed in this.

My only gripe is the pre-set camera angles and controls... but we've played Resi hundreds of times so why moan now?

    Awesome stuff, BUY IT!!!

Its wicked, I can't decide how I want to play it, do I try and get caught or not. I just don't know, I agree about the controls though, it is irritating, the PC one dosen't have the problem though. I liked the tutorial telling me about my mental elf

Woolies will have it in, im sure i saw it when i Q'd them about Burnout Legends this afternoon.

Edit update.... This game has serious potential for most gripping story ever for me... I am totally amazed at how it's keeping me and the missus hooked..

I wont say much... but if anyone has done the scene in Kanes workplace... Oh. My. Effin. Lord.

Game Of The Year potential material

The only ONE annoying as hell gripe i have is the damn L and R triggers for some of the wee button mashing track and field stylee bits, man i died a few times on one specific moment, lets just say i was literally blown away the camera and walking/running can mess up at times but i forgive it.
Other than that this game is just class, been looking forward to it for soooo long now to finally have it and it feels like it has all come together perfectly.
Gotta agree all round about the story, i had to put it down about half hour ago as i got work in morning, if i didnt i think it would have been an all nighter.
At some points you kinda forget your playing a game.

Would it be better picking this up for XBox or PC. Thinking about things like the control system mostly and wondering if it wouldn't be better navigated through mouse, etc. Running on a reasonably well spec'd machine so visually it would be a treat.

            What you boys think?

Got the XB version waiting for me at home, really looking forward to it now. I kind of ignored the hype surround it, but thought I'd give it a go as I'm hankering after something with a deep storyline...from what you guys are saying it looks like I've hit the jackport.

Same here. Picking this up later today on the 'Box. Can't wait to get into a deep, involving, sinister and atmospheric adventure to lose myself in.

I played a bit of this game yesterday and it is really great! It's just so different from anything else around at the mo and the bit you're talking about Boggy in Kane's workplace was totally awesome! The tensions builds up really well but the whole L and R trigger things does get annoying for some of the tasks but so far this game is definitely two thumbs up.

I played it for 6 hours straight yesterday, it seems to flick between being really linear and really freeform. the weird thing is that you can't tell what your actions have changed, I'm looking forward to playing it through the 2nd time.

Been playing this a fair bit and am really impressed with the narative side of things and graphically looks very nice aswell. Controls is bad in places though with camera angles switching places and messing up the direction you walk in. Plus using the L and R triggers on the xbox can kill you fingers aswell. Definatly a game you can put your feet up, lay back and enjoy without fustration and pretty much plays out like a interactive novel of sorts but from different perspectives.

The most interesting bits i`m finding upto yet are when you keep switching from kane to the detectives and deciding how much information you want the detectives to find as you want kane to continue his quest for the truth. Not sure how much this angle of play can be affected but i came into one big scene where i had the option of collecting more evidence on him than i did but decided against it as i don`t want him to get caught yet

Its mega tense at times, its funny because you will find yourself hiding evidence etc knowing that you are gonna have to look for it in a few minutes time.
