And there's at least one white tailed lizard at every save point, plus numerous others scattered around.

If you want an early example of one, just ride out of the temple and go straight ahead. You should see a tree on your left and there will be fruit on it. Sometimes it is hard to spot but with the larger fruit trees you can climb them and you can spot it easier from there. The larger trees also sometimes carry as many as 5 pieces of fruit.
Ive just downloaded the soundtrack to SotC. I`m listening to the track from the end of the game and it is awsome!Last edited by Harman; 06-03-2006, 11:07.

I love the soundtrack to this game. I find the opening sequence music is just great, makes me kinda sad though but not in a bad way! I haven't listened to all the tracks yet but I love the way when you hear a certain piece of music it reminds you of a battle with one of the colossi.
In fact I'm going to carry on listening to it now

I've had the official CD OST for a few months now, and the seven minute orchestral piece late on in the soundtrack is unbelievably beautiful. One of the best pieces of music I've heard in a long time.
I also love the little hook in the piece of music that often repeats when you fight colossi (it appears during number one)... it's where the percussion and beat briefly take centre stage to devastating effect for twenty seconds.

Edit - on the last boss now I was enjoying this sooooo much until now as its become repetitive and annoying
Another Edit - Done it thank god! I didnt like the last one at all, my only low point of the game.

Listening to the soundtrack right now. It's been permanently lodged in my CD player for weeks now. The texture is rich on so many of the tracks... there's a great variety and depth to the different ranges. Very subtle too, there's frequently these small layers in the background of the melodies that spruce up the soundscape very well.
Not only is it melodically very rich and clear, but the complexity of some of the tracks isn't needless... it's always there to add depth to the atmosphere. Whether it's an off-key note, a lingering flute, or an abstract synth supporting the orchestrics... it all balances out cleverly.

For me it's one of the most memorable soundtracks in a game for God knows how long. Melancholic, captivating and uplifting all in one bundle - like Concept I've had it on heavy rotation for the last five or so months.
Listening to any particular song I can't help but recall the parts of the game that it relates too. It's a sign that the game and songs are firmly embedded in my brain (and no doubt it will be for some time).

I had it on in my car and I have it on now. Some of the music is wonderful, I`d normally be listening to some trance or uplifting house but the SotC soundtrack (Wander and the Colossus: Roar of the Earth) is really nice to listen to.
As mentioned in earlier posts, the best track is the 7 minute mastepiece that is entitled "Those Who Remain" (track 33). This is possibly the best peice of music from any game that I`ve ever heard. For those of you that don`t have the music CD, this is the music you hear at the end of the game and it is simply amazing.
master chief, hard mode and time attacks now await you!
