The great thing about Colossus, is that it looks good despite any capture. The design of the bridge just makes me

    Although the

Secret Garden and Bridge serve no functional value, for me they're brilliant secrets

, offering up some of the best views to be found in the game between them.

It took me three playthroughs on Normal when I was first playing Colossus. The grip meter/circle needs to be very close to going off the edge of the screen (that is, it's right edge).

There are ways (apart from using the jumping glitch in the NTSC version) to save grip energy. Risky jumps here and there to avoid climbing so much.

Edit: Welcome to NTSC-uk by the way.

My grip gauge is about half an inch off the bottom of the screen now. I`ll have a go a little later and let you all know if it is enough to do climb using conventional methods.

Yeah, I meant it's right side. The bottom goes off the edge as it grows regardless.

Nice one mate, I'll give that a try then!

Hopefully it'll work on my game now.

Well, last nights plan was to quickly sample the visual style in this and have a quick toy about with the controls, then get really into it over the weekend. I was late for dinner with the misus you see... turns out this game doens't let you do quick spurts... over an hour and 2 Collossi later I literally ripped myself away from it.

Simply stunning, whether it is riding through the plains an Agro or getting your first site of a Colossi... its all stunning. So many questions on just HOW they managed to pull off something like this, it defies belief at some points.

Not sure my methods for taking out the first 2 were the most efficient but by god was it fun, hehehe. Wasn't sure what to expect if am being honest but then this aint like anything before it. Was planning on trading this within the 10 day period at Game but am gonna struggle to let it go I am that impressed with it.

Cant wait to get back in there and take Agro to the next Colossi... am hooked and am so happy

I wish I could get that feeling back, of not knowing what was coming next.

I know, I am just so happy I have it all still to enjoy... gonna get some exploring done tonight before my next battle I think, even though all I want to do is hunt down the next Colossus and see what I am in for.

I was riding about last night and I spotted what looks like a fully formed bridge between the cliffs where the chasm opens up into the sea, down in the south west corner of the map. Has anyone managed to get to that area to check it out? I couldn't find a way. I did find the tortoise hang-out and did my best to bust their shells open with a charged stab, but all I got was the odd chip lol. Got hauled around by a fish as well.

I know precisely where you mean. Yes, you can get to it. Spoilers:

Use Agro, a ramp leads down to it near the temple from the sixth colossus. You have to use him to jump over the various gaps of the bridge. When you do, you get to a cliffface with a beach at the bottom you can ride down, a valley, and spiraling moutaintop that leads to the tenth colossus. The scenery, needless to say, is stunning.

Ahh yes thats was on hard mode with the vertical jump glitch. On easy i had a huge grip meter, but it really dosent seem to get big in hard. That picture ^^^ was about colossi 11 with 90% of the white lizards caught once.
