Replayed the Burly Brawl and Merovingian fights again to make sure I wasn't exaggerrating yesterday and **** me it gets even better. Before I was using Focus for most attacks but am now finding that if you time your focus attacks to different strikes of a 6 hit combo then you open so many more possibilites.

Doing maybe a certain number fof normal attacks and then attacking in bullet time allows you to move into another move set. So, if you think about it like a move tree where certain combinations of normal and focus attacks unlock a selection of other moves. Once you get this down you can just flow from one move set to another. At one point took out one Smith with a nice combo grabbed a second, rattling him with a nice special combo and uppercut finish then 3 hit combo on a third, go into bullet time, run up his body and fly kick him in the face, like Neo does to that last guard in the lobby scene. The variety of moves you can nail is amazing.

Also done some crazy stuff using these new move sets on the Merovingian battle.

You could easily go through this game using 50% of the moves at your disposal but the joy is rinsing these great fights with the best **** you can muster. Its now all about starting a chain with normal attacks then going into bullet time for the finish and to bring other enemies into the attack. If someone was doing the fights the way I am I would be happy to just sit and watch and am sorry I can get any of this great stuff posted on here in vid, would be great!!

Will keep this short as I think I have said enough the final fight with Smith... IS.... ****EN... MAGNIFICENT!! Multi tiered areas, fighting in the sky, throwing each other into and through buildings and the atmosphere they have created with the level itself and the rain is awesome.

Wont spoil the ending to the game but its an absolute cracker, cant wait to replay all these fights again!!

The big uber boss fight they talk about happens and you get to fight in a battle with a 150ft Agent Smith made of bits of building and vehicles, held together by all the other Smiths, it is mental, but like they said, would not have worked in the movie. The movie fight and this uber Smith fight are amazing. I thought what they say about getting ready for a massive end of game fight was a aind up and then it starts... amazing fight, which I aint actually finished yet... got my ass handed to me on first attempt, it is solid. Will have it cained tonight.

I bought this before work last night, even got off work early cause I was selling the most and I came home and totally forgot the game was in my bag!!! D'oh!!

And I've gotta get ready for uni and work now!

I've heard about the ending being crap or something but I didnt wanna read it incase I got the game, so I'm definitely not reading now!

How long would you say the game is?

10 hours max, without replay... but I have bee nrinsing some of the better fights. The ending aint crap it is just weird and the final fight is unbelieavble... in a good way. Aint seen if there is more crazy stuff after the initial thing discussed as have yet to beat the final boss but at the moment it is pretty weird.

Gameplay wise the ending is superb, its just a little weird in the cut scenes... you will see

My GF is enjoying it and says it does have some replay value - The have even snuck a lot of in-joke in there, its certainly a million times better than the ****ty thing they turned out last time!

Its good to see there are plenty of folk still out there that love nothing more than slaughtering a game, personally, I dont see the value in doing so, its just wrong!!

I have enjoyed so many aspects of this game immensly and I will be replaying some of the fights for a good bit yet. Will probably get traded when the 360 arrives but been immense fun and the way they have allowed you to play out all the scenes from the movie is amazing.

Would love to know how much time these boys that flame games actually put into them.

The problem folk seem to have is with the controls, which I admit aint the most easy to adapt to but I am able to switch between guns and hand to hand perfectly while aiming so as usual people cant get there fat ****ing heads around a system so say things like "worst game ever"... what ever happeend to just putting time into something to get the rewards?? That is what is going on here and with a little bit of effort on the players part some of the action you get to take part in is amazing fun. Too many ***** want things handed to them on a plate!!

I am so glad I gave this more time than the early levels suggested it deserved.
