Am I the only person who absolutely loves the Rare logo at the start with that wonderful fan-fare music that sounds like the dolby digital logo (older version) in the cinemas? The hairs on my neck stands up every time.

I honestly think Condemned and Kameo are the best launch games because they are original titles and do not feel rushed until PDZ and PGR3 in some aspects. I am extremely baffled about the reviews it gained, especially considering there is hardly any if none at all game of this sort anymore - the closes game I can think of that matchs Kameo is Beyond Good & Evil even though they are completey different.

I finished the game last night and I feel that the last chapter is quite unnecessarily awkward and quite tacked on compared to all the rest. The last boss is good albeit a bit frustrating at first.

The ending made my heart sink, please ONLY read the spoiler if you have completed the game:

When Kameo's 'sister' went out of the magic barrier to kiss the King Troll, which turned green before being covered in rock - she went along with the King Troll and turned into stone too and both were in a solid state to slide off the airwing due to the force of the wind and falling structure.

It ends with an image of the stone containing Kameo's 'sister' and the King Troll sumerged within the depths of the water/ocean in a serene and calm atmosphere. What a shock from my point of view.

Another query: who is the person who is wearing the mask and posing on the hill-tops on the horse, leading the goodies to the battles? Have I missed something?

Finally, where has Mystic gone? Does this mean there maybe a sequel?

Anyway, when the game 'ends' you can still go back to the current adventure and find more coins, missions and collectables, which is nice. I found myself galloping around the 'world map' out of blue - it is just a very well built game and doesn't feel rushed with a lot of love poured into all the environments.

It gets a very solid 8/10 from me and I am inclined to re-play the game all over again one day. It is a short game as the clock states 13.42 hours when I completed the game and I did take my time, but the time it takes to complete is not a big factor if you enjoyed it from start till the end. Like I did.

    Lovely job Rare.

I'm somewhat disheartened by the 7/10 reviews given out all over the place... has me worried this title will become labelled as mediocre from the off, and ignored in the long run, which would be a real shame for sure.

I've just reached the 'ice town' or whatever its called, still really enjoying this. I don't know about anyone else...but I actually really like the art style. Those fire trolls in the water temple were superbly designed - and if you go into the dungeon in your home town you can see them all chained up. Their animation is priceless, especially the ice one

The Tree boss was classic Nintendo\ Rare imo.

People say that no matter how good graphics are in a game, the effect wears off after ten minues..not so here. There are so many near effects that I'm almost frequently amazed. I've just seen the effect of the ice, holy **** that's impressive!

So glad the water temple is over with. It wasn't particularly difficult - actually easier than getting the elimental warrior before - but the underwater controls were pretty difficult. The boss was a bit of a pain, but Rare really piled in the graphical effects for this one.

He wasn't too hard. Took me a few attempts but he's easy once you know his weakness.

I know how to kill him, just as soon as you enter the water the control scheme is all messed up imo

I just got really close to the 'bits' and hammered the trigger button. Repeated four times and pop.

Currently on the ice temple boss...

can get it down to its final Eye but actually knocking it off the edge is prooving to be pretty tough

Oh I was pulling my hair out. Remember the ice trail that branched out into 2 routes? Spent soooo long trying to navigate down both just in case there were items down one of them, only to find they both lead to the same place!

Have just completed the game, thought the ending was nicely done and the music was pretty cool too.

The last level is a little bit frustrating, but less so than the Water Temple and is made a bit easier thanks to the final warrior unlock. To be honest this character pretty much negates the need for the others, apart from the odd puzzle etc.

The final boss was probably the easiest in the game, too.

The combat doesn't quite come together as nicely as I was hoping. Linking moves and characters together isn't intuitive enough, especially as the enemies tend to just start flying upwards meaning you can only really use Chilla's spear attack to get more points.

Anyway, there aren't many better ways to enjoy and show off the Xbox360.

I feel really stupid, I'm right at the start having just got to the wooded area with the talking plants. I'm being told to use the plant creature to go underground and find the 2nd dark troll, the green spot on the map isn't accessable and I just can't see where to go. Went into the village and found a "pub" but that didn't help? Can anyone put me out of my misery because at the moment I'm not feeling this game properly and I really wanna at least give it a few levels...

I stumbled on this bit at first too.

Look at the map near where you first came into the area and you'll see a little gap where the wall is. You enter here inside the fallen tree and the path takes you up inside, then across the level to the part you can't reach.
