LOL, because I thought that you had to beat every medal to unlock the achievement! I didn't realise that by playing through the plat levels, it would unlock ALL the achievements.

Mind you, I am ****e at this game, so the chances of me starting platinum and finishing are low to say the least....

I am finally on Live since yesterday!

I went on PGR3 to find out that the lobby system is a bit naff - I raced, as a newcomer, against 5 top ranked racers that win by ramming the back of your car to spin and watch them drive off into the distance; I honestly don't mind losing but the system is a bit unfair for new people playing PGR3 on Live and the 2-ish months advantage.

The reason why I came on this topic is:

How do you get the 'Gotham Hero' award - do I need to come first or start in the back to finish in the front or is it just an unbalance 'pure luck' system to be on it?

Can't remember off hand but go into the "my games" or compare games against another player. You then get an option to se how to acheive each gamerscore point. Is Gotham Hero you taking part in a "screened" race ?

For Gotham Hero, you need to be in a race that is on Gotham TV.

Only random ranked online races are on Gotham TV, so keep playing those until you get the achievement.

Whilst on the subject of achievements, is the game at all picky about the online professional achievement? i seems to have all the listed badges in my online section but no achievement. ah well, it's only a small icon really.

You won all the races Edd ??? Hit all the other criteria - that acheievement seems really picky - more than most tbh.
Oh, and 3 races in - Gotham Hero Baby!!!!

Yeah, there's a badge for winning in each event. winning in Nordschleife took me ages - it's one of my weaker tracks, added to which you really need a clean, idiot-free run at the start to really challenge for it. I've got all the online badges bar winning streak x5 and x10 and one other that i can't remember. Ah well.

The online professional achievement is broken, I think it's being addressed in an update.

Still working my way through this on silver (and gold for events that don't involve other cars). I completed my first gold championship last night - something or other with 8 events that were either speed runs, drifts or cones, all pretty easy. For some reason it gave me 8 million gold coins... is that normal?
So I went off and bought all the car achievements. I think there's a mention in this thread about that (including negative gold)... hope they don't take it away from me again.

I'm mostly driving a RUF, but swap out for the Supercar Concept (drift) or the fast CCR/CCS (whatever it's called) as needed. Might give the Elise a go, and I should really start to learn the F50GT...

Silver should fall today...

Edit: Except that it's a sunny day and I can't see a bloody thing on these night tracks. I'm loving the F288 Evo but with me blinded I can't react in time.

Either I was on fire this morning or those last few championships were extremely easy. A somewhat disappointing final race, so I did it again on plat just for good measure.
And then I got into league 1 on the test track. Double w00t!
