This game comes into its element on Live - playing John and his mate earlier and it's just brilliant. I only intended to have a couple of races, but we ended up playing it for ages.

A word of warning though - John is the crash master; if you have a bumper, he'll crumple it. I'm just glad the pads don't have airbags

sorry if this been mentioned already, but is there damage in pgr3? i spoke to a mate yesterday who said he heard there was no damage, but i haven't heard anything on the topic.

can someone give me the info??

Cosmetic damage yes, handling / performance damage no. It's not as easily caused as PGR2.

I've just unlocked the Toyota GT-One... Is that thing faster than the F50GT?! The handling on that thing is phenominal!

Spentabout 4 or 5 hours on this today playing online with mates. So much fun. Got some Team Elimintor going too which was ace!

And I also set up a race on the 'Ring. But set it to 2 laps by mistake! Oh my, it took forever!!!

The only thing that bothers me at the moment, is that there really isn't much incentive to upgrade your car, other than "to see what it looks like". You could play the whole game with one car really.

Obviously with more money I can buy the flasher cars. But because the entry level cars are pretty fast anyway, (i'm only 7 trophies in and bought the Enzo), there doesn't seem to be much in the way of progression.
I prefered PGR2 where you earnt your way to the Enzo which was right at the top.

I thought the progression in PGR2 was quite ecletic.

I got bored with some classes of car but absloutly loved others. Although I got through the game I know I will never drive the ultimate TVR I'm intrigigued by this new progression mechanic and I'm hoping that when I finally get a 360 that I will pick and earn my favourite cars and use them throughout the entire game!

Bah, the Enzo is a no brainer, am going for the cars with more character like the F50 now THAT is a beauty!! Also love the Lambourghinis... just love the fat asses on the top end models, hehe. I could have bought the Enzo last night but prefer using the lesser class cars just now... using them forces you to rely more on your ability to handle the car than just flat out speed!! Could buy the Enzo and just use it in every race but am trying to mix it up and get a broad use of all classes and am enjoying the game more for doing that!! A Ferrari in every class, thats what you want

Some of the tracks I found over the weekend on live were unbelievable. Las Vegas has some crackers and when you find the right balance of car class to track the races you can get on live are superb!!
