to be honest i'm sure the 1st arcade track in 2006 is from sega rally 2

all done up in its ps2 glory

Some folks on GAF are suggesting the SR '95 port is actually a port of the Saturn rev and is NOT the arcade version. Any of you care to debunk this?

yeah me. it doesn't look anything like the saturn one. plus it's got the rearview mirror which wasn't in the saturn one, AND there's none of the stuff that made the saturn one a home game not an arcade game. if it was a saturn port it woulda had all that tacked-on stuff, not simply championship and practice, as it wouldn't have been much more work...

Yeah it does, but in saying that Model 3 Sega Rally and Daytona USA 2 looks better than most racers made today. What a stunning board it was

Yeah plus in the later stages there's way more background detail like cliffs and castles and general stuff that wasnt in the saturn version.

Two movies of SR2006. One from replay mode the other from the first arcade stage, same as SR2 (looks nice, huh?) Also has some other useless **** before the race showing the default cars available. Notice the 307? It is completely balls.
