I must say... I have NO idea what this game is but what I did find funny was that when I came home the other day I saw a way over 40-year old woman holding a copy of this game in her hand while I was going up with the escalator in the metro station. Not only that, she was talking to strangers in the train - I happened to be in the same car. It was an unopened copy and she was reading the back. That is the weirdest **** I've seen in a while.

Someone just asked me what the punishment for necrophilia is
Just returned to a sense of calm after closing the first oblivion gate and the tidying up the aftermath, time to get around to some guild questage \o/ Does anyone know which city I can get the fighters guild quests from? I used to have it in my quest list but it seems to have vanished (although I am still showing as being affiliated with them).

Where has the day gone!!!?
18 and half hours into this g ame now, 14 of them have been today, and you can probebly add another 1 or so onto that too for saving and re loading etc when certain things happen!
Up to level 9 now, just a tad away from 10 and absolutely loving it. Just so addictive, joined all 4 guils now, well I've joined 3 and just started the Dark Brotherhood one, not done the first quest yet.
I'm in search of the Nirmroot I think its called right now, someone at the Mage's Guild put me up to the task for an alchemist guy in Skingrad, and he told me where to go but I can't find enough, it seems they only grow around water, like in small ponds, but I cant find anymore in the area mentioned!! Anyone done this part yet?
I've managed to get my gold up to 1000 now but I keep losing loads to pay fines etc as I keep getting caught stealing, murdering etc! It's fun, stealing things and taking them to the guy in Burma to sell though.
Also, the weapon shop in Burma, cant remember what its called, the guy in there has a pair of magic gaunlet wrist thingys for 8000 gold and I tried to sneak in and steal them but they weren't there, also had some magic battle axe thing but couldnt find that either, they must hide them somewhere seperate!? I really want it to sell for lots of money but have no idea how to get it.
Anyway, this game has taken my whole day away and I've never done this with a game before. I've literally sat in this chair since 11am playing this game, only moving for lunch and dinner in between. Its just so addictive, it grabs you in to the world and doesnt let go. So immersive, someone said before how they felt they were totally engrossed in it and time just flies by and its true. I cant believe I've spebt 14 hours playing this today. And I'm a total RPG noob.
10/10
Tomorrow can't come soon enough!!

dunno if i need the spoiler tags, but whatever....I've done some of this. Other than the place that is suggested to go and look for them, go to the lake that surrounds the imperial city, and just skim along the coast lines there and you'll probably find quite a few. You'll have to kill a few crabs along the way. I had 3, and then I went there and got the required 10 for the initial part of that quest.
also, re: persuasion.
if you get your speechcraft skill high enough, you get a free rotation of the wheel without choosing one of the wedges. Which helps a lot. Smooth talking ftw!Last edited by flutey; 26-03-2006, 03:54.

Is it normal that i'm finding the main quest tedious and loving all the side quests? Duno if it's just me...but i found the first gate quite hard, having to re-load my game a few times. Even though i was level 5 (well, i think that's quite high for that early on?) the enemies were way stronger than me, and i basically had to run through it to get to the end. Brilliant game, just got to put the damned thing down, it's kept me up

After reading this thread I decided to pick it up along with Oblivion. I got home and set it up but had to to pop back out and pick up an RGB scart cable (I got the last one in the second GAME store I tried) as PAL 60 though composite looked terrible, including a lot of ghosting around text. Is everyone else in this thread playing it in HD?
By the way, this game should come with a warning! Got to the point where yoshi sent me a message at 4:30am calling me a "crack addict"
Oh yea,but this is the best form of crack!

I found by pure accident, stole it out of some poor villagers house who had it in a plant pot and the quest opened up straight away. Maybe have been inthat Invisible Villagers place..
Also Trolls are totally kicking my ass at lvl9, their regen rate is insane i can't hack them down and my Fire magic sucks ass... so for all you budding alchmists out there whats a Good Posion potion to make? i want throw it on my sword in a dirty tactics game.
