Ok just had a blast on the demo with some mixed reactions.

First of all the cut scenes where amazing, exelent both graphicly as well as the charectors looked well developed and to have an inderesting story behind them. The way this title stands out form the other hack and slash titles is the amount! of enemys you lay down in a single combo and the way the special moves work is very good and brings a different angle the the genre, its very satisfying laying waste to hundreds of enemys in a single combo.

But the downside is, it is just another hack and slash title not that much for it to differenciate itself from titles such as dynasty warriors, the game started to feel very repetative already with walkign to each battle just as annoying as annoying as it was in dynasty warriors.

At the end of the day if you love your hack and slash type games you will engoy the title, if you not a big hack and slash fan i see it as more of a rental than a buy as theres not much here to keep you amused for to long.

Its a good game but not enough has really changed from predecesors, thats my 2 cents on the game

I doubt it, here's what the main man had to say in a interview with Xbox Evolved

XE: Besides English translations will anything different be done to the game when it hits US?

Mizuguchi: No it will be the same product through and through

Lame. If Kojima can get off his arse and bug-fix/smooth for Pal, why can't Mizuguchi? You'd think he'd want a second crack at a "feature" that got universally panned.

            Gotta love the voice acting.
They have got the voices of those mystical warriors spot on

Yeah, and it's even better with the wildly inaccurate lip sync.

The demo is fun for a few minutes I thought, then the repetition sets in and it gets boring. And no check points through the very, very long level is insane. The hero characters do look superb though.

Wow, I just downloaded this..loving it.

Yeah its just hack and slash, but it just great mindless fun. I've never played these types of games before so that might be why I like it alot.

The music track on the demo is amazing, and just going insane with combos into the massive armies is great fun.

Whats this Dynasty warriors like compared?

Agreed. Nice graphics but there`s nothing else to it besides swarm after swarm of soliders and found myself fed up after 5 minutes. TBH I expect more from Mizuguchi .

Is the demo, or the full game, multiplay or co-op? My bro loves the look of this as well, would be more fun to play it with him.

                        Ok.

If walking into a hoard of enemies as far as the eye can see, unleashing a full blue-bar orb burst, and watching absolutely ALL of them get caught in the explosion and fly up into the air for an instant 700 hit combo, doesn't give you wood and/or make you laugh like some kind of ****ing mad scientist, then you've got no soul.

                        None whatsoever.

The grin on my face is immense.

                            Nope. 1-player only.

Someone remind me of the PAL release date.

If it's unbearable, i'm ordering a Japanese 360 right here, right now.

Same here...made me think "Onimusha minus the story"...of course it's only a demo but the repetition was...well, I'd be bored ****less (in fact I was) in 10 minutes. Died without personally dying, was I protecting someone? I skipped nothing...

Just generally didn't like it. For what it is, it's well executed, but it's not my cup of tea.
