Just earned my humane award, and took a leaf from Paulos' book. I now have a white rose on my right leg, and the humane award on the side of my cockpit to commemorate.

I'm going to see if I can arrange a giant Tarakian offensive tomorrow, after work.

There are a few Tarakians on the official forum - All of us need to work together and take a single point. There's no reason we can't re-take the capital.

            Questions:

            1) Is anyone else finding the voice comms patchy? I could hardly hear anyone, and if I did it was of..te..n... l..i..ke... th..is...

            2) There's no way of telling friend from foe at all? That's pretty terrifying isn't it?

            3) Why in one mission didn't we finish off the enemy HQ when it was almost gone? Do you have to destroy a particular one?

            4) Why does everyone seem to have a similar mech, are snipey wheeled ones a bit pants?

            5) I have a lot more... I guess I should really just get on and play it as much as possible! See you tomorrow!

                1) Down to lag on their part unfortunately.

                2) There's no way of telling at all. You need to work together with a tactics commander who will tell you. Only a tactics commander can differentiate. Squad Colour, and Squad Emblems are important here.

                3) No clue.

                4) Limited parts perhaps? Not many are available at the moment. Though I haven't seen another tactics commander QUITE built as... uh, unbalanced as mine. (Got a huge NA array sticking out of a large generator, hanging off my back. It's great!)

Any more questions, feel free to ask.

I joined for a while, but didn't do much good. :P

I have to say multiplayer feels really great, but I agree with cavalcade -- it's hard to tell friend from foe.

Yes, I got excited when I saw a mech standing stock still and was about to unleash 2 sniper rounds and a machine gun in it's back, until a vague recollection it might be on my side came into my brain.

I actually don't mind too much though - if the commander *can* tell the difference then it's all goodness. Forcing comms should make it even more entertaining. I do now remember one of you called "number 30, look out, across the river" and I then got a whole load of pain shortly afterwards. So, yes fair enough - I'm liking that. I need to do a few more SP missions I think to check out all the classes.

Overall though, you can't fault the execution online, it's really rather special. Sega/From, your four days of hell have been put to one side, I am willing to forgive you.

That's exactly it. A tactics commander is almost necessary for every battle.

Not only can they pinpoint where enemy hounds are within your NA, they can also tell apart friend from foe. Without one, you'd truly be lost.

I just hope I was of assistance to you lot today in the war. (Though saying that, the team I was in hasn't lost a single war effort. )

Whoops, thanks for letting me know. I'll clear out some inactives.

Does anybody know how long the special part lotteries take? I'm pining for that NA Array. My baby needs it.

Who'd have thought it? It IS actually good fun online!

Though I've got to get more ammo for my mech, one little battle and I'm out. Could be my aiming though.

Enjoyed tonight even though the game still annoys me (SOOOO much potential wasted) and I'll be back on around 10 tomorrow night

More and more people are agreeing to a united Tarakian offensive, on the forums.

From 6pm tomorrow, i'll be concentrating all my efforts on winning back areas of the capital that are under attack. If you guys could help, and if you know of any fellow Tarakian squads that are willing to help aswell, then please.

I figure if everyone, or as many people as possible, all concentrate on a single battlefield, we're likely to conquer it quicker.

I'm up for that. I think the squad camo helps with the friendly fire a little bit but I still find myself holding back just in case.

I'm glad I finally got on and it is good fun but I think there will need to be a patch at some point, I was still crashing out of games a lot.
