No a review is when you look at somthing in its entierity. Thats nothing like what I originaly posted.

All I did was reply to someone who didnt understand why the games have alot of fans.

You did look at it in its entirety when you said that you thought it was ****, ****e and bollocks. Fair enough. You also framed it in the context of Japanophiles loving any old niche crap to fulfill a psychological requirement. I wouldn't care if EDF was programmed on the moon, as long as it's by Sandlot, or some trusted source. My consistent attempts to publicise the game indicate that I don't want it to be 'niche'.

All you had to do was say, I didn't like it due to x, y, z, and not drag its fans through the mud. You certainly didn't explain why the games (not the psycho-cultural baggage) had a lot of fans, even from a devil's advocate viewpoint - your only contribution was to slag off the games and their fans.

Nevertheless, you've already apologised for that so it's maybe best to draw a line in this circle.

If you continue to think that this is about your opinion of the game then you haven't really focused on what the main point is. I truthfully couldn't give a toss whether people like it or hate it - see the reaction to TA's opinion. It's about the reasons you said people like the game.

Anyway look, I seriously never meant to offend anyone, I was just giving an opinion, which for some reason someone acused me of not doing and it escalated from there.

Sometimes it seems to me that people dont realise that all we are doing on here is discussing what we think about things, thats all any conversation actualy is at the end of the day, theres never any reason to get upset over what someone thinks online becuase it can never directly hurt anyone.

If people think im stupid and my opinions are a load of crap they are welcome to tell me, I'm not gonna lose sleep over it, but some people seem to get angry if you dont mention every half a sentence that you respect their opinion and tell them that they are more right than you are.
