Why does it looked washed out?

PAL has both Germany and Australia in it, both countries that are likely to have restrictions on sales of this game.

              Coincidence?

Possibly the way his screen handles the resolution? There's nothing that coiuld cause it console-end.

Think it's already turned down for release in Germany.

God I hope the PAL one isn't cut down, otherwise an import 360 will be on the cards.

Another reason why it might look washed out to some is because the game uses a filtering effect (in a similar way to Silent Hill), which coupled with the subtle motion blur as you turn the camera, gives the game a slightly gritty feel.

damned, my 360 is just broken and i have to wait to enjoy the demo

is there any indication for what the photograph points are going to be useful? also, what's there besides killing zombies? some adventure touch to it or is it maybe just a pimped up State of Emergency?

leveling ups quite a big aspect so you get new moves etc. rescueing survivors and discovering the story line are other aspects as well as beating the psycopaths littered around the place.

Even labelling it a pimped up state of emergeny would be doing it a massive, gi-nourmas discredit

Downloaded the demo yesterday and found it brilliant fun!

My favourite moment was chucking the cooking oil on the floor and watching the zombies slip slide all over the place, then when they got up, i fried their faces with a boiling hot frying pan.

Where else could i do that and not get arrested!!!!

I know what you mean.. it makes for a great atmosphere.

However, I'm half tempted to purchase the original Romero Dawn Of The Dead soundtrack, rip it to my 360 and and have that blasting in the background as I slice, dice, batter and shoot my way through the hordes of shopping mall zombies!
