Blimey, I`m on about my 8th playthrough now and I still love this game! Granted, I don`t watch all the cut scenes any more but the gameplay is still quality.

Managed to get "Frank the Pimp" achievement the other day and I will defo get the "Saint" achievement on my next try, I`ll finally shelve DR when I have my 1000 points.

11.55 am, i am at the helipad, prepared to watch the final cutscenes and get my reward - ending a or b - not quite sure. but what then happend i wasn't prepared for: a cutscene showing the pilot searching for me on the helipad without success, then getting slaughtered by a zombie. ending c. over. and uli confused.

WTF? is this a bug or just stupid programming? i still can't believe this!

I went to take out the cult leader psycyhopath and afterwards I thought I'd rescue the people in the theatre. Not one of them survived once we'd got into the mall - there were zombies everywhere! Anybody managed to get them all back?

I got Frank The Pimp this week to.... It was much easier than I thought, although I kept the old woman from the roof at the start (killed her husband first).... I was actually wondering if I'd get the achievement considering she was old enough to be all the other girls' mother!

If you playthrough the game a few times and get Frank maxed up and then get the three books (entertainment, engineering and criminology) along with a couple of Adam`s chainsaws you`re laughing.

You can then have your surviors wait whilst you clear the way. Setting way points is the easiest way to get from A to B, just set your way poing and go postal with the chainsaw to clear a path for them.

Finally got the saint achievement, hoorah! Managed to save 53, I think that`s the maximum but regardless it was enough and I`m glad that I don`t have to do it again. It isn`t that hard when you have the right tools for the job but it can be frustrating, I hope by the time DR2 arrives Capcom have the survivor AI sorted becasue it had me pulling my hair out at times but we got there.

I really want to get 1000 points on this game but I`m dreading the survivor mode achievements.

You`ll do it fella no worries. Complete all cases upto the cutscene where professor Barnaby turns into a zombie and gets shot by Brad, ignore all cases after that.

If you do the above you`ll get ending "B" which will give you a little more room for error as Brad and Jessie survive. You`ll probably already know but remember to get your first survivor from the "In the Closet" store in Entrance Plaza and also make sure you get back to the security room when Kindell starts kicking off or he`ll take aload of the survivors with him.

Also make sure to complete all scoops involving Kent as there is a survivor to be had. Any erotic pics you have save in previous games will work in Kent`s photo challange but you must take a fresh pic of the air vent on the roof to show the 3 survivors in the Huntin` Shack, pre saved pics will not work there.

I got this at the weekend and I need help - I have four guys with me (2 japanese tourists and 2 other guys, one of which attacked me). I'm at the food court end of the mall. How do I get them to safety?

In the park, there's a bunch of guys in a jeep (good going getting that into the centre of the mall) and I don't seem to be able to dodge them without my guys getting slaughtered. Any ideas?

I realise that the answer is probably somewhere in these pages but it's 131 pages long...

Go to the toilets in Wonderland Plaza

(you have to save the dude stuck on the ride after killing Adam the Clown - just turn it off at the controls)

. The fella will mention a shortcut and guide you there. You have to jump onto the sink unit to enter it

I haven't actually killed Adam yet. I've faced him twice and he wiped me out in no time. I better try again.

On your first playthrough it can get kinda tough, not until you kill Adam, take his chainsaw`s and use the three magic books will this game become a walk in the park.

But my advice to anyone on a first playthrough is this.....

Everytime you enter Paradise Plaza goto Columbian Roastmasters and take some OJ from the fridge, it doesn`t give you loads of energy but it is an easy and constant supply of health. When you have the OJ hop over the rail to the right of the fridge containing for the katana, the katana is your friend until you can get hold of Adam`s chainsaw.

When you have enough stock slots you can then start going for the books that will keep your chainsaw going longer

entertainment (Paradise Plaza), engineering (Paradise Plaza) and criminology (Wonderland Plaza)

, when you have the three books required you can playthrough the entire game with only having to pick up 2 chainsaw`s.

Another piece of advice is stay away from using guns. Some people think they are great but they`re not really. The only time I`d advocate using a firearm is for the first Carlito encounter, the convicts in the jeep, Isabela on the bike and Cletus, but even then when you have more stock slots (for books) and heath squares you`ll be able to melee all of these guys to death with ease.

When fighting Adam, always attack when he`s either blowing up a balloon or throwing knives, otherwise he`ll block the attack and break your katana. After a couple of slashes retreat away as he`ll breath fire at you and thet hurts.
