Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (360)

Why does everyone have a problem with the 360 pad in the game? I changed the run button to the right trigger instead of RB like most people did. I played Pro Evo 5 on the PC with the 360 pad. It's never been an issue for me.

If anything I prefer it, the analog is positioned better than the PS2 controller.

I just can't get on with analogue in pro evo, never did on ps2 either...

well,i'll be giving this a go in a bit round my mates.But the impression's on here are very dissapointing.

I knew konami would cut corners as well,which really ticks me off.The absence of replay saving is totally inexcusable.

wow, alot of people moaning about the game. its the same with every pro evo when it comes out everyone is moaning and then a month later or so, its the best footy game ever. it craps all over fifa, plays so much better than it and the player likeness in pro evo is much better than fifa where they all are growth stunted shiny plastic chubby dwarves . its way more realistic than any other pro evo, you cant just run down the wing anymore and get a goal, you have to play the passing game and work for it. the saving replay absence is a tad annoying but the core gameplay is the brilliant.

I agree, the cuts are irritating but the gameplay is there for me. Yes it's different but it's something that i enjoy getting used to.

The lack of live is my biggest dissapointment, i'd only let other people use edit mode and update my pes but i can't update the 360 one anyway.

Lack of EDIT mode and save replays along with no shirts coming out of shorts (ooh-er missus) is indeed disappointing, but agter playing through some offline cups I've got into it. Really enjoying it. Kezman and Mista have been rife

So what is HMV's exchange policy on games? Can I get a refund because I really don't like this and might stick to the PS2 version instead.

Maybe you need more practice? Havent been thrashed by the CPU yet and Ive only played on Normal mode.

PES in europe is always harder. 6 stars (the hardest mode) on Winning Eleven is Europe's 3 stars on PS2.

I probably do need more practice, never played PES 5 but loved 4 and had no problem with that one...
Have a copy on the way from Play that I might keep or sell on here depending on whether or not I get rid of this copy...

Same here, I'm a novice when it comes to PES, and frankly, can't be arsed to put the effort in, which is apparently needed to even come up to standard. Had a couple of plays of it, and the game feels like it needs another dev cycle, and please, sub-ps2 graphics on the 360 for 50 notes, **** off.

I hate to say it, but this is going to cex tomorrow, and I'm gonna get FIFA 07 *spit spit*.

I'm starting to think my wireless router setup is preventing me to get a game. I only got two games in allday online and they were from invites by random peeps out of nowhere.

I really hope the theory of the online will go fully online tomorrow stands up

[EDIT] Just read on another forum that people are having probs getting games on PS2 version too. They seem to think servers are down. Maybe they will be back up to scratch 2moro then
