My broadband is still fooked so I'm stuck with offline play at the moment, but I'm loving it. First impressions weren't good, but once you give it a chance, its clearly a step forward over the last versions. Much more realistic/sim-like but with lots of lovey, subtle touches. Be patient and it will get better.

Anyone had the game freeze indefinately during an online match when either player presses START during the game?

Happened twice to me now, and twice for some random dude was playing before. My game is currently in stakeout mode as the guy who im winning won't quit Jesus.

[Update: The guy finally quit after 30mins, sorry, but I'd lost 5 in a row. I needed that win lol]

Yep. had that twice today...both times I was winning by 2 or more goals so i'm not sure if this is user caused or just a glitch. Either way I eventually reset my 360 and played another game!

The two times I've had it occur, was when my opponent had pressed START during play to bring up the whistle indicating the need for a change/reorginize.

Could be something to do with new dash update or something, ya never know.

Anyway, this needs sorting.

One guy i was playing online, his XBL name was something like cadu of war, hopefully he doesn't post on here but half way thu he decided to pause and hope i would quit giving him the easy win.

Now he was getting chatty and giving me the 'mate my xbox has died can you turn yours off please' lines but my advise would be go silent and once i stopped talking back and ignored 4 or 5 messages from him he got bored and ****ed off.

My gaming time is limited as it is, I'd just dump the guy and play someone/something else, sitting waiting for a disconnect? No chance, it's not as if the stats mean anything.

Your right, they shouldn't put stats in the game or achievements for that matter. I thought it meant my willy was bigger than others in PES world . Spoil sport.

I seriously dont give a **** about rankings in any game on XBL for these reasons...

I just wanna play for fun against like minded individuals so I just cant be bothered even venturing down the ranked match path as its like the gump box o' chocolates when I would rather know who I am playing.

Had some superb matches online last night with a few mates. Has this improved in the last couple of days, it was buttery smooth last night... it was so smooth I couldnt find anything to blame when I lost. Now that is smooth.

I'm a bit of a nube when it comes to PES. I just wanted to know what the arrows (with different coloured backgrounds) next the the players name and stamina bar mean; particularly the meaning of the colours. Ta v much!

These arrows indicate your player's current form/condition. A green arrow means your player will perform as good as his stats say. Any arrows below that pointing downwards means he may under perform (but not strictly). If you have a start player with a grey arrow pointing right down, then it may be wiser to replace him with a less talented player that has say a red arrow. Red arrows pointing up means they may put in a better performance than what their stats say.

I'd say only replace your best players if they are on a down pointing grey arrow.

First season of Master League complete and what a joy this game is to play now that I am totally use to all the controls and new techniques. Signings so far have been Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Rosicky, Walcott and my personal favourite Fernando Torres. Every one of them a quality young signing who will keep on improving so team is really starting to take shape. Torres, Rosicky and Walcott came after first season so they will hopefully bring a good bit of strength to my squad.

The Master League is brilliant and the only exclusuion fromprevious version I can notice is the player ratings thing. Cant seem to find it after games or in the team information section which is a shame but not a big loss. Overall the mode is just as exhilirating as it always has been.

Played my first league game of Division 1 last night with Torres (2) and Rosicky getting the goals in a powerful 3-0 win against Bolton. Plaing on Normal just now but gonna crank it up a bit after this season.

Loving the game every bit as much as I hoped I would, simply superb!!
