    Taking out turrets.

Only way I've found save flanking the buggers, (and to be sure there are usually paths to flank), is to split up in singleplayer this meand taking the other side of the road to Dom forcing the gunner to turn and shoot at Dom thus opening himself to your line of fire. Frag grenades help too if you can get them behind the rascal.

As I said a few post back I get the impression there was tons of stuff they wanted to put in

(like the thing in the final cut scene and the Brumak)

but just didn't have the time or cut it for whatever reason.

Although if they wanted to do some DLC with additional chapters, I'd quite happily drop as much points on it as they wanted

I hope you and the others will still be up for some Co-op, when the rest of the world gets a copy....

          Without a doubt

The good thing about co-op is that it also varies depending on who your playing with and what tactics they use.

No two games are really going to be the same. Well there is one constant - me being shot to pieces because I get distracted by how good the scenery looks

Absolutely, besides got Insane Mode to do yet as well... and I gotta find all the Cog Tags as well.

It won't be the game same twice through, since even on Hardcore I've found the Locust behave differently than they do on Casual and on quite a few occassions, I've been blindsided.

Can somebody give me a first play run down of the On-Line Vs mode? I want to know everything so spoiler tags please for those with their heads in the sand Or are people just playing story mode/co-op still?

Great coop gaming moment in chapter 2

The point where you are at the top of a hill with a locust on a turret at the bottom, and an oven and a chest of drawers for you to cover behind. Spent about five minutes trying to take the turret guy out with my snipe but without any joy, momo's cupboard was virtually destroyed and we made the snap decision to run for the second car under the bridge. A lethal weapon 3-2-1 moment was followed by frantic runs and rolls and we both made it to the car for an easy frag of the turret

Moments like that really remind me of Halo coop, which really can only be a great thing !

Finished this last night (hardcore) - Stunning, simply stunning.

Not since the original Halo have hours flown by so quickly...

It was a joy to play, I was engrossed from start to finish. I think people only have a beef with the length because they don't want the game to end!

                  Can't recommend this game enough!

I agree Goeman, you really don't want it to end, and to be honest

after the battle with the General, I was expecting another part to ensue.

                      Major spoiler....

There are plenty of gas bottles on that road and there's a doorway to the left as you come down the hill. Nip in there, blag a couple of locusts in the room and presto you've flanked tha pair of them.

A game like this you really never want to end. This really is up there with Halo for me, whether it will last as long on line or not I'm still unsure, but the campaign especially through COOP is up there with Halo's imo ! 3 acts to go though so it could still all go horribly wrong.

Also I like the fact that the acts are split into so many different chapters each of which you can select and replay once complete. I know that there are several battles that I will replay alot, and thats only from the first two acts, let alone the next three. As spatial says the

one thing that i noticed last night was that the

                          wretches

                          aren't thrown by enemies

one of the plans was that the
would lumber about and actually throw the

                          wretches

at the player. that's why they have handles on their backs

                          that would have been awesome

Another major spoiler dont read if you haven't got the game yet or finished chapter 4..

Back of the mansion when you're making a run to the APC. Once you move down a flight of stairs a time starts but there's no way I'm beating the rascals before that timer runs out. Any tips?

Lol we do not see any of that, became more adept at spotting the things that the

                              propanes would be hidden behind

later in the act though. This is another one of the reasons I'm already comparing it to Halo, as it has a similar feel that you have several tactical options to each situation and just need to way up which is best for you. In my case usually fluky as feck run, and nades away
