    RE: Garny

This must've got loads of people stuck, including myself, since it's taken me 20 odd retries.
Eventually what i did was to stay in cover at the start, and pick him off using the assault rifle then shotgun. But i didn't bother shooting him when the Kryl were around him (pretty sure that's his shield) and when he decides to issue the 'destroy' command to his kryl - then unload whatever arsenal you've got on him, when he's temporarily shield-less.
When he get's closer to your initial position, just peg it over to the otherside - though bear in mind, stay in the lights, because the random kryl flights will kill you.
    Repeat, rinse, and dry.

I never did bother with the gun turret, since i always got killed by the kryl when using it.

I also don't think my method is that good to dispose of him either. I'm sure someone has detailed a better method.
    Hope this helps.

I'm getting constant problems, over and over.

      The co-operative play works fine.

But whenever i'm trying to get into ranked or unranked matches, I can't connect to anybody. Once again, I stress that NAT *IS* open, but nothing's working! I've only managed to play one game!

        This game is orgasmic...

Completed the first act, on the second act at the moment, I love the way the health isn't as moany as GRAW - I love the free movement, the graphics are impressive (and I haven't experienced a slowdown).

My only problem is the moveable cars, they often get stuck on little rocks, or the dead bodies of my fellow teammembers... urg.

Yeah, but you can pretty much play through the whole of any Sonic game using one button :P. And more to the point SONIC is all about getting from A to B as quick as possible .

In GOW there's a lot of ducking and diving , and using the A button for cover, jump and running is asking for a bit of trouble in my view . That't not saying the game is bad , far from it

Loving this, only did the first act on Casual then went online, even though I'm awful (I blame FFXII for messing me up ) it's just amazing. I have had some issues joining games, but once you get into a good game with some decent people it's one of the best games I've ever played on Live.

As for the A is as good as any button to hold down thats rubbish, The left trigger can be held while still retaining access to the others on the pad.
Holding A can get in the way of the right stick and the face buttons

I thought you pressed A and then you were stuck to the wall, and then when you press a you were unstuck, no need to hold down a?

Or have i misunderstood what you're saying?

According to this http://live.xbox.com/en-GB/profile/A...pareTo=dvdmike, dvdmike hasn't played GOW yet. Of course, he may have played it on another console or not been online...I haven't read his impressions, so maybe he's talking about what hes just seen or something?

I don't even have this yet and I've just shelled out ?40 on the collector's ed -my concern is, I'm reading all these problems with what sounds like what SHOULD have been the perfect game coming up short. Dodgy controls, incredibly short single player mode and an online mode with very limited appeal and bugs, are these just the moans of the raving PS3 fanboi massive or is there truth to be found in their words?

Not exactly overcome by Eurogamer's 8/10 either, especially when they granted F.E.A.R a 9

Dodgy controls are only a problem if you have flid arms. Single player may be 8-10 hours, but stick it on hardcore and it's gonna take a while. Multiplayer is the tits, really well done, very tactical and one of the only online games I've played where comunication with with your team is essential. Hazuki take note!

This game simply is the best, completed Act two, had 1 bullet left, it was one of those rocket guys, one shot, DEAD (thankfully my team got him down to nothing). Then started the next level... no ammo... DOH (thankfully there was loads around).

There's an achievement for 5 perfect reloads in a row and 25 perfect reloads ... which I accidently did - I hate getting achievements mid battle and I still have to find out what they were for... interupts play
