Yes, WR64!! I just started hard mode and it is a step up in terms of having to nail those rings and tree runs. This game looks so simple but has depth in spades.

A sequel would be a amazing.

Picked this up a couple of days ago and during the tutorial was already contemplating eBaying it but, thankfully, the actual game's great fun. Getting S rank on some of the regular 'Excite' tracks is quite demanding so I'm curious to discover how difficult the 'Super Excite' courses are.

Oh, and yeah, Waverace on the Wii, if done properly, will be sublime as will the sequel to 1080 Avalanche.

been having a good blast on this after my mate bleeder hooked me up (thanks man). It was a bit woerd at first but Damn, this game is CRAZY! I feel like tearing up the landsacape lol! Driving through trees at stupid speeds is great fun, this game is definatley one to lighten up yah mood. Got to say though im not 100% convinced about the verses mode, bit empty and sparse.

The remote plays perfectly with this and i find myself falling back when i do great jumps and swinging left to right.

You know when you give your girl frind a joy pad for teh first time on a game, say mario, and they sway their arms left to right in unisson with the character on screen. Well, THAT WHAT ITS LIKE! lol i felt like a right noob!

So much fun! But blummin hard to get S ranks lol.

Track design is fantastic on this with some real memorable tracks the big castle in Scotland or the one were you jump over the great wall of china made me smile add in lots of speed and some fantastic controlls and the only thing missing is online multiplayer, great game

Shame there is no little hidden stuff hear the n64 version of Exciteabike with wii controlls would be ace

Absolutely loving it, just wondering if anyone has any really stars scores for any courses?

Not sure if it's intended or not but there's been a few moments where I feel like I've got one over on the designers e.g. landing on top of a glacier and being able to continue racing.

One trick I learned off the AI (first time for everything) is that you can use small boulders to get jumps and hence turbos.

there are bits that i think are intentional as short cuts, on one of the scotland levels i got a bit to much boost on a jump and went of course i was heading for the middle of a lake the cool thing was that there were some stones stuck out of the lake and i used them as steping stones to get back on track and into first place.

I've hit a few 1080s and 1440s now but the scoring system really confuses me.

1080s get the same amount of stars as..... driving into someone. Whats that about?!

It's down to how hard you've hit the truck, you can graze them and get 1 / 2 stars.

I think he's asking why something as tricky as a 1080 is rewarded the same way as ploughing into someone

Mm, considering how difficult it is to pull off a 1080 I'd say 10 stars would be a more fitting reward.

It's more difficult to score a super truck smash than a 1080.

I dunno about that. In the short time I've had the game I've probably scored around 70 - 80 super truck smashes (most, admittedly, through sheer luck) but have yet to achieve a 1080.

Well think about it - If you can score a 1080, you're most likely going to be able to score a Super Air too.

Can't spin without the air stars aswell, so technically you DO get 10 stars if you can pull off a phat spin.
