I thought it came in earlier and I don't remember using it in Chaos Theory either.

Is there anyway to tell your team to hold when they're rappelling, rather than just go up and go down? I didn't try pressing down.

Jeez this is hard, I'm playing it on realistic and I'm not even through the first level in 2 hours

This game is brilliant, and I'm still in Mexico!

They'll hold at anything important, like a window, by themselves. Then you can tell them what to do.

So far then Marty, are you happy with the game? The new coop video over on xboxyde.com looked like heaven!

The terrorist hunt option will be fun (As per the demo) and I am keen to try SP.

So far, would you say this is a good R6 game? I guess my copy will be here in a few days, but I would be interested to hear if are impressed with the game, and feel it has taken cooperative play to a higher level than GRAW, or not.

                Thanks.

Yeah, it's very good - it's very tough mind, there's not a massive difference playing it on normal or realistic, you die just as quick. It plays a lot like Rainbow 6 3.

My only gripe with the game so far is the AI, it's not terrible, but your guys still need a lot of looking after or they just stand in the line of fire and let themselves die. Also the enemy AI seems to be able to see you far easier than you can see them, this was the same in the other games too - it's just a matter of not charging in, using your map and snake cam, and it's usually ok.

The level design is really neat, there are so many gaps and hidey holes that you have to be cautious and check every crevice. I like the level of character customisation too.

Not had chance to play any online stuff other than the demo so far, virtually no-one on my friend's list has it or is playing it the same time as me - no doubt this'll change over the w/e.

                    Thanks!

When I was making my way down the mine shaft and told them to go down they just strolled past one of the fences in full view of the enemy.

Ah yes, in the mine - ok, I'll modify that, they stop at anything they can smash through - they don't get shot in the lift shaft as the enemy ignores them, and you.

I'm enjoying this quite a lot, it's fun playing tactical and directing my drones into battle while I hide somewhere and snipe. The drones are pretty dumb though, they seem to need a lot of reviving.

One thing that would be nice, and this is more of a general thing, is if the Xbox's built in default control preferences could be extended to cover more than just inverted aiming. I'm juggling Rainbow Six, Call of Duty, and Gears of War at the moment. All with the zoom, reload, and crouch buttons in entirely different locations...

                          I see.

I shot them all myself anyway and then brought my team down.

I've just played split screen co-op story and for all the details I was a bit disappointed to see that you don't wear a helmet or at least have your goggles on, yet you still have thermal and night vision and your character still does the hand gesture when you turn the goggles on and off.

In co-op story there is no radio chatter, story dialogue or transitions between levels/checkpoints.

6 out of ****ing 10 my arse.......

Best FPS on the 360 to date - personally I would put it as the best action shooter on the 360, knocking GoW into 2nd place. Can't understand where people are coming at with the 'it looks **** next to GoW' - complete bollocks. Just the Mexico levels, with the different looks to the various parts of town you go through, then the

Tunnels before ending up in the factory

                              - it all looks ****ing great.

The cover system should be seen in every FPS from now on, it adds so much to the game without taking anything away. Its different enough to GoW's cover system to make it feel fresh, and in co-op its just brilliant.

What can I say about the AI apart from on realistic they give you the most fun game that I can remember - when you hear them asking each other for ammo, cajouling each other to attack us, screaming abuse etc, and then following it up by actions (flanking you, running off, attacking from higher vantage points etc) .... Halo was made by its AI, and R6V matches it imo.

Don't be so hard on yourself John - your arse is at least a 7 out of 10.

I only got part way through the opening level before leaping into co-op. Truly excellent stuff.
