Yeah Bastila and Mission do my head in. Carth is paranoid about everything, but I can appreciate that after state school!
Canderous is pretty cool. Always going on about mech dropships and killing innocents. Damn that would make for such a great spin off game.
The great big Wookie is pretty cool.
I think I'll restart the game and play it completely light. I'll tell myself I'm playing it the hard way! Ah, but should I choose a male or female character? Carth or Bastila, hmmmm.
And afterwards I'll choose the Dark side in my second play through. Oh yes, then I'll show them all.
The whole type class and Jedi class is a bit overwhelming TBH. Any suggestions. Currently I'm a scoundrel with the mediator type Jedi class (forget the name)

Don't worry too much about what you missed on Taris. There are a few side quests but nothing that you'll miss. Just carry on and you'll forget about it. Taris is such a small section of the game that it doesn't really matter.
I really can't wait to go back, play dark side, get loads of Jedi levels with the 2:18 level and see how my actions reflect the twist on the Leviathan. It is just such an amazing game... other than Manaan... I can't wait to kill all the selkath... I really do hate them.
I just found the skill Knight Valour! It's REALLY amazing. I'm gonna give Malak what for with that skill. I've got it all planned out:
Go to Korriban with money earned from Kashyyyk. Then buy the two items that give me +5 strength and +4 dexterity. Cast Knight Valour and give myself a couple of Hyper stimulants... then Attack Malak 3 times and cure once (twice if necessary) after every hit by him. I swear, when he fights me he's gonna hit the floor so damn fast.
I can't wait to get the cool crystal that JR was talking about earlier. I Really want a kick ass Light Saber... Currently my double lightsabers are really good... Not quite as powerful as Juhani's Double ended lightsaber, but mine has a really good set of stat effecting abilities and stuff...
I'm just really getting into this game. I really feel like I am beginning to know how to manipulate my party and my team to the best of the situation... If I have two Jedi by my side I'm good. But I find that everyone I use Longrange weapons with is absolutely ****. I'll have to look into that when I replay the game for a second time.
Next time I'm getting +16 Persuasion and working my way from there. If I go level 2:18, then I won't need quite so much strength to begin with as I'll stay back with blasters... So I'll bribe everyone to give me loads of armour and stuff so I hardly get hurt, let Zalbaar, Carth or Bastila do all the leg work then when I become a Jedi Soldier I can use force powers from a distance, then finish the job with my saber until I can get my stength up. I'm thinking that by the time I get to the Star Forge on my next run, I'll be at such a high level, with some amazing skills and items that I'll be untouchable... I'll kick everyone's ass!
Oh, and I just realised what you guys meant by certain darkside abilities 'cost too much' when you play lightside. I've just realised that I've wasted lots of Force Powers because I've been getting Darkside ones that cost too much force to even cast. I can't use them at all. I'm going to make up for that by getting heal and Knight Valour, and I should be O.K. in the end.
I'm really going to wipe the floor with this game next time around. Absolutely destry anyone who crosses my path, become a sith, use a kick ass saber with some great moves and hopefully kill Malak and assume the position of Dark lord (SPOILEROnce again and control the WHOLE galaxy!
Man this game is the best.

Oh, and I HIGHLY recommend getting a strong Repair Skill (talkin' over 16 here) to unlock HK's abilities. The first one pumps his Dex up 2 points, the next adds to his Armor Class by another 2 points, and then the next one adds to his shooting (I think). Anyway, add those to the Level 3 Heavy Armor Plating, and a good Dex, and the boy is damn near untouchable. I was going to head to the Star Forge with Jolie and Juhani, but now I'm going to do it with HK and Carth. The Sith will tremble...

I'm not evil...I just realise the Galaxy would be a better place with me in charge. I bet Palpatine is just misunderstood as well, y'know.
Actually, although 17 is the final point you need to need to fix HK47 completely, you don't have to put quite so many points in to get it. I can't recall which attribute it is but by paying in a lot of points into one of Intelligence/Wisdom/Charisma at the start, you get bonuses on certain skills. That, coupled by giving one of your Jedi team mates the Valor powers means that a Repair of around 12 could be boosted by an attribute bonus and the 2-5 points Valor can provide. Cast Valor, quickly start the conversation with HK47 et voil?! The only skills really worth bothering with are Repair, Treat Injury and the fabulous Persuade. That said, if you want to do the game completely light side, you'll need to stick a few points into Stealth to save the droid on Korriban as well...

One thing that annoys me about the otherwise ace HK is the fact he seems to take ages to increase his feats - you get power blast to start with and then seem to wait ages for the next one to come along. I know he does get to use the stun rays/flamethrowers and stuff but it's annoying going into battle with just a basic rapid shot and power blast for what seems a fair while...
Still, as you said ages ago, he is The Man. Er, droid.

The galaxy is finally safe from the evil of the Sith... and the game is layed before me complete. 38 hours 38 minutes. Level 20 sentinel. Kick ass!
Malak was really tough. It took me two attempts before I beat him.
I'm not going to play the game again... yet. In a week or something I'll give it another look, but I've just put my pad down and I'm trembling.
This is one top class game. 10/10 in my book. It wasn't perfect. I had a few glitches with my characters on the unknown planet (they wouldn't follow me for ages) and there are generally a few bugs... but generally very coherent. Extremely fun to play and a wonderful story that kept me playing until 6:00 am twice. I just completed the game playing 6 hours straight, so, that tells you something about how much I like the game.
One of the most emotive and gripping games I've played in years. Wonderful stuff.
Game of the Year.

Some of the exchanges between Bastilla and Mission were hilarious (the part when Bastilla used her powers to shut Mission up), Jolie was someone i really admired, i'd do what he thought was best, Juhani was kind of anoying, i like teasing her and Zalbaar was a complete dick. I hated the prick and decided to kill his dad, HK was the one that had me in stitches everytime he made a comment, I loved winding up Carth finally Canderas. I never used him, but i loved listening to his stories.
All in all its the best game i've played this generation, supasses the mighty Halo imo, easily the best RPG i've played. Cannot wait for Jade Empire
Game of the year for me also
